Deceased/Not Found TX - Daisja Weaver, 9 mos, Dallas, 8 June 2009 *A. Weaver guilty*

Just a question that I thought of-

IF the mother made this up, what would that mean from the rape aspect of it that she claims? Couldn't that be found a lie, if she made that up, because she was taken to the hospital that night and I'd assume a rape kit was done. If she wasn't truly raped..there'd be the first hole in her story. And, if she was, then we know that some type of crime obviously took place in that apartment. Wouldn't cops be able to tell whether or not at least part of this story is a lie?

The story as I understand it is there was no rape, the attacker attempted to pull her pants down and gave up when she resisted. That's when he grabbed the baby and ran off.

Why do I have a really bad feeling I know how this story is going to end?

I haven't read the entire thread, so forgive me. But if someone attempted to rape you and then stole your child...would you wait 12 hours before calling 911?

Dallas police on Wednesday issued an Amber Alert for Daisja Weaver after her pregnant mother reported that the infant was kidnapped from the family home about 12 hours earlier.

Statements don't match what other witnesses say. Mother punched in the face, but nothing (dna, bruise) shown on the face, per LE.

I kinda know how this one is going to end, but I'm going to keep the mouth shut until I hear more.

Best,

Mel

I have a bad, bad feeling about this one. That mother is not telling the truth, I betcha.

What is WRONG with these mothers? I'm an old woman now, but back when I was younger I had infertility issues. My only child was conceived after taking fertility drugs. I would have given ANYTHING to have another baby and here, these women are killing babies as if they have no value.

There are SO many women out there that would give their eyeteeth to have a baby--why don't these murdering women take these unwanted babies to someone who would care for them? It saddens me.

Bless you Cleo -- if I could take just one of these babies out of harms way, I'd do it in a new york minute. I have my ONE-derful son who is the most precious being to me. I lost #2, then had to have a hysterectomy due to pre-cancerous tumors. I truly believe he is an angel sent from up above. Why don't all mothers feel that way?

I call these women who put their children in harms way egg donors - they do not deserve the title of Mother!

All the best,

Mel

The missing child's mother and father were taken to police headquarters for questioning. The parents were offering conflicting stories about what happened, said police. They said that's why they delayed issuing the Amber Alert. The parents also didn't have a recent picture of the baby. The only one they had was when she was just a few days old.

BBM

ARE U KIDDING ME. They have a 8/9 month old baby and haven't taken a picture of her since she was a few days old? Are they trying to hide what the baby really looks like? What about the grandparents - they are usually camera crazy. By 9 months I had 100's of pictures of my son.

I just don't get this.

Mr. Mr. E and I have often kept odd hours during a move, especially when the kids were little.

Something's fishy with this story, though, for sure. The mom's story just doesn't sound right.

I don't like Momma's story either. She mother] wasn't sure of exact race, she didn't see a face.

Was the perp behind her at all times. He gets in, gets close enough to take off her pants (attempt), takes the baby, exits out the balcony, jumps over said balcony, and she sees nothing?

Wonder if this is a 1st floor apartment...would find it difficult under any circumstances to jump a balcony with a 9month old in hand -- without anyone hearing the baby cry. There should also be a telling footprint in the grass or dirt.

Okay, I'm taking my detective hat off now. As I'm pretty sure we know how this one is going to end...

If they were in the process of moving and the door was left unlocked. why didn't Mom get a good look at the perp? The lights would've been on. Also who breaks in to rape a pregnant woman? I guess it possible just not probable.

I think this one will turn out that the baby was left in a hot car (it's been in the 90's so probably hot in dallas too), or left in a bath tub, or injested something and mom has done something to cover it up. As to not lose the unborn baby.

And if he supposedly punched her in the face, isn't that pretty much face to face contact? That tells me the perp was standing in front of her. If you're being assaulted, don't you want to get a good look at the guy?

Best,

Mel

Now my comments. T's my space page is very bling -- nothing like the gal I saw on the news. These 2 do not look like they would not take pictures of their child (just look at the MS one). I think they're hiding photos from police, and giving the snarky pictures to them....why?

You'll definitely get a different vibe about this family vs. what the media portrays. At least I did.

Wow. You are fast. Good job, Sleuth.

~snip~

Family members told NBCDFW that the baby, who was born premature, is physically challenged

~snip~

Prayers for Daisja....

Is anyone out there a MS sleuth? I'm trying to backdoor ♥$.P!NKY;
to look at her photos, and see if she has pictures of the baby.

This is her sister, also known as Mariah MIMI . Not sure if she's her true sister, or just sister -- kwim?

It was verified that it is a first floor apartment. One of the posters called the apartment complex and asked.

On Nancy Grace, she asked if the perp was behind her. The answer was a qualified no.
The latest I heard and maybe it is the latest story from the mom is
that she was coming out of the bathroom and the guy assaulted her.
He supposedly tried to pull her pants down, but did not.
He then hit her and grabbed the baby and left.
She called the police immediately. They arrived at 11:40p.m.
Police waited to issue an amber alert, because the mom's story
was different that the dad's story. Police would not say what story the dad told.

IMO:
The story is not believable. But the mom, on news video, seems genuinely distraught about her baby being taken.

I am leaning toward the baby dying accidentally, due to the heat or the baby's own medical condition. And mom making up a story, instead of just saying she found her dead. Unless, of course, mom left her in a hot car.
??

Otherwise, what suspected rapist would kidnap a baby?
A baby supposedly sleeping in the car seat. The car seat seen on news video on the floor of the apartment.

I think police are just going along to find the baby, because they do believe she is missing.
Maybe not the reason she is missing, but she is missing.

Prayers for Daisja.

The baby's mother, 19-year-old Tamaira Creagh, told Rebecca Lopez of WFAA-TV (Channel 8) that police were focusing on the wrong place.
"They're looking in the wrong area," she said, between sobs. "They need to be looking where it happened."

I don't understand this. The article states that LE was doing a walkthrough with the parents around the apartments and that they were looking where the baby was taken.

Dallas police said they had no new leads Thursday in the case of a 9-month-old girl, Daisja Weaver, whose parents said she had been kidnapped late Tuesday from their Far North Dallas apartment.

There is nothing new anywhere, she's not even top news story.

Chilling theory. But it would explain a few weird things like why the child was sleeping in the car seat, and why the police impounded the mothers car for forensics.

LE was called right away... at 1145 pm. They were called to a kidnap in progress. (in this thread I posted a link called "raw interview with LE".. I will have to go back and find it).. The amber alert was issued 12 hours later because the mom did not have enough of a description of the perp to meet the amber alert criterion.

I also posted another article somewhere in here where LE was quoted as saying that the parents did not give conflicting statements. What was in conflict was the criterion of the amber alert being met (perp description) and thusly the delay of it being issued.

All that being said... in the spirit of the casey anthony pizza experiment we did here at websleuths in the early days of the case... I would love for one of you guys to punch me in the face and see if it leaves a mark! The mother claims to have been punched in the face.

I am on the fence about this one. I hope the baby is found soon.

I watched the video of mom again.

Wonder what she meant by these words about the perp:

"He had a motive (the perp), he did what he had to do." He got my little girl."

  • #196
That's one reason I've been thinking there may be another "dad" in the picture, or someone who knew taking baby was the best way to get at mom.....IF she was taken.

What's really beginning to bother me now is the possibility that Daisja has some serious medical issues. That I would assume might need monitoring and or therapy on a somewhat regular basis. If that is the case, then why isn't that being stressed in any of the media coverage?

Could that be because LE has more than we know and a belief that sweet little Daisja is no longer with us?

She was upset, to the point of being frantic, about LE focusing their search at the new apartment as well.

Wait, now I'm really confused. I thought mom was at the old apartment with Daisja and dad was at the new apartment?

Why would mom want them to look at the new apartment? How would some stranger who broke in and took her child know what apartment they would be moving in to?

Help a girl out here, please.
