I'm just praying these two little kids are found alive. What state of mind would father be in to kill his beautiful children. How did he get to this point.
It just boggle's my mind!

http://www.click2houston.com/news/16662213/detail.html

let's see...kids are gone, daddy assaults mom after they go missing and tells her get over it; they are dead, daddy is seen removing two large containers from his apartment right before kids are reported missing and refuses to tell police what he did with those containers, daddy threatens to assault reporters who could provide media help in spreading the word to find the kids and he refuses to cooperate in the investigation or take a lie detector test. Daddy is not desperate to find his babies safe, he is desperate to keep police from finding their dead bodies.

Family members see all of this and come to the brilliant conclusion that they don't think he harmed the kids. I guess killing his children with his bare hands and stuffing their dead bodies in a suitcase and dumping them is not harmful, in this family's opinion. These poor children have a "family" who cares more about denying their daddy's evilness than holding him responsible for making their short lives end in torture and betrayal.

Thank God those babies don't have to live in that horrible situation any longer.

I think the family is just clutching at anything with the hope that the children are still alive.

PASADENA, Texas -- Officials with the Pasadena Police Department said Friday there is a strong possibility that two children who have been missing for six days may be found Friday.

Pasadena Police Chief Bud Corbitt said, however, that he is not optimistic the children will be found alive.

Investigators said Randy Sylvester, the father of missing 7 year-old Randy Jr. and 3-year-old Denim, made strong statements that the kids' remains were in water.

In one of the blogs I read this morning two people commented about the mother not getting with the media, or helping with the search..and think that she know's more than she's saying.

Interesting.

This whole thing just makes me sick to my stomach. I thought from the moment I saw the father ( I use that term loosely ) on the local news that he had done something to those beautiful babies. I pray they are found soon so maybe the rest of the family that really do care about them can have some sorta closure.

I agree....

Welcome TxJillyBean, I like your name.

You are right about the dad's pic. If it is the same one I saw, with his head thrown back and chin jutting out, that one picture says a lot about that man's attitude. Looks like he is drooling to fight someone.

Thank you for the nice welcome..... There have been many pics of him in the news and not one a single one makes me feel good. He did tell reporters the other day that he felt like fighting all of them. Really sounds like a man who wants his children found. I think not.

Police on Thursday searched for a wooden chest and a suitcase that had been seen in Sylvester's apartment. Corbett said witnesses told police they saw Sylvester carrying the suitcase from the area of his apartment to his car Sunday afternoon. They said the wooden chest that was in his apartment as late as noon Sunday was not there about 4:30 p.m.
Corbett said the black chest is 18 inches high, 30 inches wide and 16 inches deep. It has a red star sticker on the lid and is scratched, he said.
The suitcase is dark-blue canvas with black trim, Corbett said. It is about 40 inches long, 20 inches wide and 18 inches deep.
Sylvester has been only sporadically cooperative and has told investigators he doesn't know anything about carrying the suitcase, or that it and the chest were missing, Corbett said.

Jodierenee-thank you soo much for the link. I clicked on it and it lead to a new artcle with many details I had not read before.
My heart dropped when i saw that this thread had been moved, but it was only to merge the two threads. I suppose it is only a matter of time though, or at least i pray that it is, before they are found.

June 20, 2008 - 2:30p.m. PST: Search crews and dive teams are searching to bodies of water to try and find Randy and Denim Sylvester. One body of water is within Burke Crenshaw Park and is being referred to as a pond. During the search this morning sonar hit on something that was thought to be a large box. However, when divers went to investigate the object found was a large piece of lumber. The other body of water being searched is being referred to as a retention pond. The search began at 9a.m. today. The park is located 3 blocks from the parent’s apartment complex.14

5p.m. PST: Searchers have brought in two water pumps to lower the water level of the ponds so they can search for the children. Police have indicated this afternoon that Randy Sylvester, Sr. says the children are indeed dead, he has also said he can’t recall in which pond he placed the children’s bodies. It is believed the children are inside of the trunk and the suitcase that have been reported missing from the father’s apartment

I just don't understand how anyone can harm a child. This makes me so angry and sad.

They were beautiful! It just makes me sick to think of what happened to them by their own parent.

The bodies of the children have been found in a wooded area of Southeast Houston, several miles away from where they had last been seen.

According to a source who spoke with KHOU, the bodies had been burned:

I am SOOOOOOO angry, and soooo very sad, that once again, young children have had to pay the price for their parent's idiocy. I pray this man gets the DP.

RIP dear angels, RIP !!

The bodies of two missing Pasadena children have been recovered, Pasadena police said this morning, ending a nearly weeklong search for the siblings.
Authorities have not revealed the site where searchers found Randy Sylvester Jr., 7, and his 3-year-old sister, Denim Sylvester. However, investigators this morning are at a site in southeast Houston, several miles from the home where the siblings were last seen on Father's Day

Sounds to me like the kids were not found in the water. I guess those "strong statements" daddy made about them being "in the water" were lies too.
I hope the cops have some good forensic evidence from the dad's apartment, or wherever he murdered them.

My heart is broken. May they rest peacefully in the arms of God.
What in the world could make someone do these things??

Yes...I just read that, too. What a depraved human being!
Those beautiful children...too sad for words. Bless them both.
