Has the husband been cleared? Last I read from LE they hadn't officially cleared anybody?

I feel really dense because I can’t hear anything other than “morning”. Everything else is just mumbles to my ears.

Sane here, I only hear morning. The rest is too mumbled to make anything of IMO.

yeah I have no idea how people are making out these detailed phrases.

The key is finding the truck IMO. I wonder if LE was able to.

I wonder if the killer drove in from possibly states away, and so no one around him/her have any reason to suspect it's them even though they have that truck. I mean, a lot of people have that truck. If a neighbor of mine did (I live in IL), I would not even think for a second they were the murderer for a crime in TX, you know? Plus I think a lot of folks outside of her area have not even heard of this crime. MOO

I don't think he has been officially cleared, although it's been mentioned in lots of MSM that he has been very cooperative (just one example: 'Anniversary for a funeral': Few leads in murder of Tomball woman as family pleads for help). I don't think that necessarily means much. I'm sure in a case like this LE are looking at him closely.

Just reiterating but I really think it must've been someone extremely close to Elizabeth that arranged this. How else would they have known about the garage sale and that she would be alone at that time, especially since they only put up posters that morning? IMO the key is looking at who she or her husband met up with or texted in the days before. Especially if the truck lead is a dead-end (which it must be otherwise we would know by now). MOO

I agree, he's never been anything but cooperative. But yep, it's also got to be someone (or arranged by someone) with intimate knowledge of Elizabeth's life and routine and even sudden changes in plans. If it's not the husband, it has to have been a close friend or relative or a colleague she confides in on the regular. Or, someone that knows the husband very well and is in constant communication with him - and yet you'd assume police would already have gone over all of both their recent communications with a fine tooth comb already. Nothing really makes any sense.

Who thought Liz was in the way of their happiness or believed she was preventing them from living the life as they imagined it?

It's possible Elizabeth discussed her garage sale with members of her cosplay Star Wars, etc. communities. LE may be withholding that information from the public as part of their investigation. JMO

I think this is a very good core concept and an is also expressed concise and to the point.

This core concept can then be applied to the main areas of her life:

- Family
- Friends out side of cosplay
- Star Wars cosplay
- Work

I’m hearing more things as I keep listening and here’s what I’m making out:

1:13 Elizabeth: good morning!

1:15 Possibly the shooter saying “morning!” Or some cheerful expression or just noise. I’m not sure about this at all

1:19 Shooter: Give it to me

1:21 Elizabeth: No!

1:25 Shooter: You were right. Sorry. I have (unintelligible) to shoot you.

In my other reply I thought it was a hired hit but now I’m not so sure. Seems like she might know the killer. Is anyone here savvy with audio technology and able to clean up this sample? I’m fairly sure I hear “give it to me” but I’m not positive. What’s really driving me crazy is I can’t make out the one or two words he says in between “I have” and “to shoot you”
It almost sounds like he’s trying to say “I’m gonna have to shoot you” but gets it wrong and says it backwards: “I have to gonna shoot you.” People do misspeak sometimes. Especially if they’re nervous.

If you could repost the link for me, Ill send it to someone who is an audio engineer, with a recording studio. He may be able to clean it up a little. TIA

I'd guess they are sure he wasn't the shooter (not his body shape).

From that point of view, having it all recorded is a good thing for him. If she'd just been found dead on her lawn, I imagine he'd be the prime suspect.

You don't need to be the shooter to be ultimately responsible

Oh I know, I followed the Sievers case from the beginning.

I don't know that it's the husband tbh, not in this case. He has been cooperative. There could be someone else that Elizabeth was very close to that had motive. Not a lot else has really been publicly shared about her life.

I think it's likely that this was a hit, and they've simply gotten lucky so far. If the actual shooter was known to Elizabeth then I feel like this would have been solved already. That's just my feeling though.

It seems impossible to me to be anything other than a “hit”, as bizarre are that sounds. It does not appear that she knew the person by sight. Maybe not at all. But I can’t imagine the murder being a mistake, i.e wrong person. And when “hits” so-called, do happen, it is always someone who knows the victim well with a motive...usually money, child custody or a relationship or some combination of these, jmo. And thus far, the plot has not been revealed to LE...which seems astonishing to me. Usually one person will be arrested who no one has ever heard of and later on, the person who arranged it.

All jmo, obviously...
