Found Safe TX - Fermin Fuentes, 4, Dallas, May 26, 2019 In Stolen Car (Car Located)

Mapping this out for some perspective: Car (with boy inside) stolen in 2200 block of S. Buckner Boulevard Stolen car found in 8100 block of Rylie Road (Blue dot), boy missing

We hear about people stealing cars with children in. Typically, almost always actually, the kids are released somewhere.

People who steal cars, want the car, not the child.

So one of two things is probable here:

Someone was trying to kidnap the kid all along.

Things are not as they seem.

People don’t steal cars, and keep the kid.

Kidnappers aren’t trolling around looking for a car with a child in it.

We’ll see where the facts lead us, but I’m leaning one way right now.

And why would you leave your 4 yr old in the car if you were going to McDonalds? You can just throw them into the ball pit and let them play if you need a break or something.

Yeah. That’s unusual.

Remember that guy who had his car “stolen” from the gas station in San Antonio?

His son, King Jay Davila, was in the back seat.

We all know what happened there.

I hope this isn’t like that.

It's absolutely awful that the best case scenario possible here is that this little boy was in fact in the vehicle and that it was actually stolen.

Hopefully, if this account of the stolen vehicle is true, whoever stole the car dropped FF off at the side of the road somewhere and he just hasn't been spotted yet.

The alternative is much, much worse.

JMO.

Both are downtown at DPD HQ - unclear if either are being cooperative w/detectives in helping locate 4yo Fermin Fuentes.
