TX - Fertilizer plant explodes in West, Texas

No one had to "order" us (Texans) to lower our flags to half staff....they've been at half staff all over the state since just hours, maybe even minutes after this tragedy occurred!

We are "Texas" and we take care of our own! My heart has been so very blessed to see the outpouring of support for West...all of Texas is loving on West!

And now have tears streaming down my face! Yes, for this tragic loss - but more for the uplifting, remarkably strong people of West...and of Texas!!!

I said this the night this happened...I miss Texas, and will always feel it's home, even though I only lived there about 8 years. I am with you all in spirit and am rockin' my red Texas shirt today!!!

I went for a drive with my Dad around the area...flooding on the Mississippi, which I have never seen.

Just turned the Memorial back on...to hear Taps! Guess I had even more tears than I thought...
