Family members have previously told 11 News that Thomas was acting bizarre in the hours leading up to the slayings.

Cedric Thomas’ widow detailed statements purportedly made by Moran Thomas before the slayings. She described the statements as "out of character."

"He was saying that all black women, all they do is put voodoo on people and that all white men are devils," said Stephanie Thomas.

She said Moran Thomas was arguing with some of his family members on Saturday, and the argument had something to do with Cedric, Moran’s younger brother.

"Cedric and him were close, so I think he thought they were probably doing something wrong to Cedric, or treating him wrong and he probably got defensive to that," she said.

His brother, Cedric Thomas, was also found naked, outside the home. Investigators said there was a reason why one victim was found outside the home, but would not disclose that information. They declined to discuss the crime scene.

Authorities took blood samples from Thomas to determine whether he might have been using drugs at the time of the shootings, Maxwell said.

A son killed his mother, father, brother, pregnant sister, and 2 yr old neice.

The sister was 4 months pregnant and the 2 yr old was hers.

Words are hard to come by, but after glancing at the photo of the suspect posted above with that sick little smirk on his face, I would hazard a guess of drug-fueled madness and/or demonic possession.

I don't see the smirk, but I agree with some type of influence being involved ... mental or drug-related. So very sad.

MARON THOMAS INDICTED FOR CAPITAL MURDER



Twenty-year old Maron Thomas was indicted for the January 17th shooting deaths of 69-year old George P. Washington, his wife, 54-year old Debra P. Washington, 25-year old Kiana Shree Phearse, her three-year old daughter Khalia Masse-Chambers and 19-year old Cedric Thomas. The bodies were discovered at their family home in the 8400 block of FM 1456 that Sunday afternoon. The investigation into the shooting indicates the victims had been killed several hours, perhaps up to a day earlier.

It appeared that the family dispute had erupted that led to the shootings. District Attorney Travis Koehne said that he is still considering whether Thomas will face the death penalty.

He should have been sentenced to death IMO ! We need professional jurors, if this monster does not deserve death who does!!!!!
