Yep, yep, yep, as another WSer put it so eloquently earlier, that woman is just pouring salt into BD's wounds, and MOO is it is just plain tacky. BD has carried herself with honor,class and dignity throughout this ordeal and I admire this young woman.

I did until this latest group of articles came out, now I will withhold judgement on that. Family not telling the truth, not sure when she was last seen? I wasn't born yesterday.

I have been wondering this for a while. No one seems able to place her after Sunday except for SA, and he's not family.

and in my mind as of now, everything he says is suspect..

So Billie did not see her that morning..did she talk to her at all during the day?

"inconsistencies in the families statements" may very well allude to medicines or street drugs that confuse memory...just saying

I do NOT believe Hailey is a runaway at all. It does appear that there may have been family complications and thats a given when parents seperate but this 13 year old child did not run way in her flip flops.

I agree teh..and I have felt this way from the beginning. Doesn't mean that I believe them guilty in Hailey's disappearance...just means things aren't adding up to me and I can't shake the feeling that some just are not being completely honest or forthcoming for some reason and I can't figure out why...and it's troubling to me < ALL JMHO..fwiw..

They never release much info on what they have found during an open investigation. Nothing new or odd about that at all. However when they feel they are being yanked around by those involved, you bet they will say so.

I can not blame you..I have waffled back and forth myself but I am not so sure that these articles that have come out as of late are not just "plants" by LE in hopes it will get the family or whoever to start talking...LE can and do, lie, manipulate, twist things in order to interrogate or question people. So it is funny to me that LE has been as tight as a cork in a wine bottle about HD investigation then all of a sudden they come out with this story....

In Jonathan foster's case there was very similar releases didn't talk much about leads or evidence (till his body was found) but publicized that certain things were NOT adding up..... I don't find it weird they are doing the same thing with Hailey.

The one thing that sticks with me is changing stories...stories can't change if you told the truth the first time. If any family member changed their story, that is a big problem and not good for Hailey.

Now I am nervous about why GF said she can't remember if she saw H or not...I have felt this was very odd all along and now I wonder if she just wants no part of it.

omg, I can't even go there..I don't believe that to be the case, but we all know stranger things have happened..

I just believe that there is MUCH more to this story than is being told...That would be ok of I felt like LE was being told...H@ll, of all the cases I have followed I just can't get a feel for any of these people..except for the feeling that they're holding back...hopefully only to us, but idk..

So in 12 days that Hailey has been missing, "the family" has failed polygraphs, lawyered up, and keeps changing their story? Hmmm....

I must have missed it - did they say that anyone else besides SA has lawyered up?

I am having a really hard time with the fact that apparently LE can't even get enough information from the family to get a timeline going. In all the cases I have followed, that is a huge red flag.

Only today with the NEW witness saying a Hailey and two girls. I'm wondering if the third person - boy or girl - is being mistkaken for the wrong gender and if both of these people are telling the truth and talking about the same incident or at least the same three people.
