Well, I haven't read it mentioned, Is there any kind of gang activity in CC, like there is everywhere else?
Wait, wait, wait a minute.
This could be a case of "kids" and if the new "pop-up" witness is a kid. There could be something brewing in betwixt different cliques or groups of friends.
I've been wondering if maybe Hailey and MB had a big blow-up that day or Sunday.
I just can't get Hailey's fb posting outta my mind where she talked about MB putting a "beat down" on some girl.

Small town though, the people there knew.......especially the kids, word spreads like wildfire. Why didn't they come forward before now?
I wish that is something that all of these people involved in all of these cases would understand.......trying to paint these kids out to be angels, does nothing to help find them, it actually hinders the process.
Snipped ...
"The story of some of the key players continues to change even as recently as last night," said Senior Texas DPS Trooper Sparky Dean. "It's very frustrating for law enforcement."
During a news conference Sunday afternoon, Dean elaborated and pointed the finger at those closest to Hailey.
"The family has not been forthcoming in their discernment of the truth," added Dean.
Dean didn't elaborate much beyond that -- only adding that investigators still haven't found evidence of foul play. He says they continue to question people just in case this transitions into a criminal investigation. Dean added that law enforcement continues to be hopeful Hailey is hiding somewhere.
"I'm confident we'll find Hailey," said Dean. "I don't think Hailey wants to be found. I believe she's hiding. She's probably scared at this point. We're going to find her."

I think Hailey is an all around good kid. She got good grades and was well liked by students and teachers. So what if she was allowed a little bit more freedom than another parent would be comfortable with? She probably earned it.
IMO there is no such thing as a "perfect child"...well with the exception of minelol Seriously though, she wasn't cutting school, getting in trouble in school, bad grades. Things that you would typically see with a troubled child or a runaway.
IMO, Dean either has strong evidence that Hailey is alive or he is the least intelligent LE Officer on God's green earth ... With that said, I'll keep my opinion of him to myself.
Maybe LE is convinced this is local, meaning friends and/or family have the answer and that is why they feel they don't need TES, as they are leaning towards her being with someone in a house, rather than having been injured or worse and out in the elements. But if she was on the phone on that Monday, they should know by now who she spoke to and where that person or persons live, it shouldn't be such a crapshoot.
LE really needs to have an informative PC. Rumors flying so much will only make people shut down more.
