Why would SA say that he was fired from his job when in fact he wasn't? Whats up with that?

Yep and OH! Guess what, that was another thing Billie didn't know about, no wait she did, no wait she didn't until afterwords, or wait maybe she did.........:banghead: But you do have to love it when they keep going on NG.......lol

FB page reporting a volunteer search in Snyder Wed. morning. It is stated they have three places of interest to search.

Note: There are now 3 FB pages for Hailey.

I agree there is no sense in this. But let's be realistic...many single/divorced/ even seperated moms date. It is not like she met the guy on Friday and moved him in on Sat. She knew him for quite sometime. Personally, I would not move a guy in if my kids didn't like him. And I would surely show him the door if my kids were creeped out by him. But, that is me.

If SA does end up being the one responsible for Hailey's demise, there is no way Billie could have known he was a sick child killer. Maybe there were red flags and it kinda looks like there were. But who dates/lives with/marries someone they think could be a killer? Possibly, she just didn't see it.
Who truly can predict somenting this awful?

This is such a tragic situation and blaming Billie is not going to bring Hailey home.

JMHO

Someone that has those traits themselves? :waitasec:

Good question! I haven't been able to figure out any likely reason for doing that. I'm sure he had one, but what? Did he have something to go finish and just didn't want to face people at work afterward? IDK, because he could have called in late. You would think that he would know that not being at work for any reason would be a HUGE red flag to LE..so he must of had a good reason, but dang if I can figure it out!

Well if SA is lurking here, I have at least one suggestion for future reference:

Do not, under any circumstances, have a New Year's Eve "celebration," "party," or "friends getting together for a few drinks" type event when your girlfriend's young daughter has just disappeared from home and is still missing. Perhaps, instead, consider a candlelight vigil....where you can share some details that might help bring the little girl home, and you can show the public how much you love and miss her and want her quick return.

He took her to work that morning. Scurry County is the next county over from there they live, and it's also where Billie works. So if he came home, got her, and took her to work, then it would make sense that both phones would ping there.

The odd thing is that Billie said she left her phone at home that day for the kids to use. But it wasn't at home. Unless SA took it without Billie's knowledge. LE knows where that phone was all day long, I'm sure.

The other odd thing is he doesn't own a car, anywhere, and her's was broke down for about a week. So how did they get to work in the first place, and how did he leave his work place minutes later? tia

My guess is alot of texting has been flying.

Wonder if it has occurred to them that LE can/will get those records too? Hopefully not..

The New Years Eve party is what really blows my mind! What does one say to their guests when your daughter is missing during the time you are hosting a party I wonder? What do the guests think about it? How in the world were they able to keep all this under wraps?

On the night before Hailey’s disappearance, her 16-year-old brother, D., indicated that when he left the house at 9 p.m., Hailey was playing one of his video games in the living room in the house. Based on her skill level with the game, D. said he expected her to play probably until midnight.

The night they are talking about is Sunday night. Dec. 26. I'm pondering on the significance of this paragraph. It acknowledges that Hailey was alive and playing video games (probably the XBox). Its the sentence that states her "skill level" on the game and based on that her approximate play time to probably midnight.

Why would that be important? On Sunday night, Hailey was home playing XBox until at least midnight. Billie said she didn't work Sunday so all 3 of them were there - Hailey, SA and BD.

BBM--Thank you for pointing this out! What is up with the cell phone? Who is telling the truth--LE or BD? Even if she had the phone with her in the am it had to have gotten back home some how for Hailey to have been seen using it around 12 noon by the neighbor. Did Billie have 2 cell phones? One that she left at home and one that she took with her? But wait, she had to have her son text the little girl where Hailey was supposed to at. So it doesn't look very likely she had a 2nd cell phone with her at work. :waitasec:

Possibly czgtz can you please weigh in on this?

perhaps he is a compulsive liar, and can't help himself. idk.
Perhaps his work sight was elsewhere, and he couldn't figure out how to get there so he thought he got fired because he decided to go visit his mom instead. Most folks would get fired for walking off the job after being there 10 minutes.....

And leave the mask and knives at home...

I'm still puzzled by the last few sentences in this article..It just stops..What in the world did Hailey's brother walk in on?

On the afternoon of Dec. 27 at about 4 p.m., Hailey’s brother DD returned home.

According to his father, Clint Dunn, DD arrived about 4 p.m. and pounded on the front door for about five minutes, and no one would let him in the door.

DD then let himself into the house through a window, where DD said he saw Adkins in a hallway with a “deer in the headlights look.”

Probably asking her bro how long she usually played or something trying to get a tighter time line?

The conversation with DD wasn't until Tuesday. The pings were on Monday.
