I don't know if this has been discussed, but how old is Hailey's mom ? She looks so so young.

She is 33.

Just a theory / speculation....
It was said last night that someone wondered if he was acting out scenes from the movies. ... Hailey would make the perfect "Laurie" from the movie. She even looks somewhat like the character and would fit the good girl /chaste image.

ETA: I wonder if they were using Hailey for reinactments / photos .... and it had just "gone too far" for Hailey and she took off.... OR if it just went to far ... period .

I thought that, too... No printer/internet at home. Still, even if it were just a "hobby", it has no place in a home with anyone under 18. Heck, not even with anyone over 18... :no:

yes, I do. I have Ann Rules whole collection.
But I don't save articles under my bed, wear masks, chainsaw deer...........

I just want some big news SOON. The feeling of not knowing is driving me absolutely insane with these cases!!!!!!!! And if I'M feeling that way, how must those close to her be feeling??

I think she printed this stuff off for him because he no longer had internet access to read it at will as he'd just moved in. And I guess he wanted to share his "hobby" with her? All of it was printed in September around the time he moved in. And in just another case of lying and covering for him, she called it HER "hobby". If it was her hobby, there would have been pages printed in a lot of other months too.

You're reading my mind... I wonder if part of that is true, but SA was the one who went too far, not BD (sorry - I'm still clinging to hope here). Perhaps whatever took place on Sunday night planted a seed in his mind and he fantasized about fulfilling a fantasy... and returned Monday morning to get her and actually follow through with the whole thing.

I would seriously like to know...

If BD worked until 7 p.m. why she was withdrawing cash from an ATM at 6:20 p.m.

Did they go home after this ATM withdrawal and drug purchase?

If she did leave early from work on that particular day, what was the reason?

This to me sounds like she may have known what occurred. She may not be responsible directly but could very well have planned it with SA, and SA actually performing whatever might have occurred to Hailey. IMO

How do we know??? LOL j/k. That is all true....but my point was that just being interested in true crime and having those books at home isn't suspicious to me.

So they DO believe the car was involved...! They must have forensic evidence. Sorry, I've only gotten that far.

Wow, caught up finally. First post on this case but have followed along from the beginning.

A few posters have mentioned the Bernardo/homolka case, and this occurs to me as well. I wonder if, soon, BDs defense/excuse/reasons offered for her possible involvement in HDs disappearance will be that she was frightened of SA, and got drawn in to his macabre interests because she was under his sway.

I pray BD isn't involved to the fullest extent, but IMO, she's either involved fully, involved in a cover-up of a crime, or she's perhaps the most naive woman I've ever read of in a case. And again, I pray it's naïveté, and not involvement.
