COLORADO CITY, Texas -- KTXS News has obtained documents that show startling facts into the investigation of missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn that point to Hailey's mother Billie Jean Dunn and her former live-in boyfriend Shawn Adkins as being primary suspects.

Information in these summary statements comes directly from the affidavits:

– Adkins previously had threatened the lives of both Hailey Dunn and Billie Dunn in February 2010.

– Both Adkins and Billie Dunn apparently held an ongoing, intense fascination with horrific films and brutal crimes. Seized in a box in their bedroom were numerous documents, some fictional and some past crimes, that covered such topics such as serial killers, ax murders, sexual sadistic activities, the occult, sex and death topics, motives for murder and mass murderers – including the killing of family members.

– Billie Dunn and Adkins hosted a number of friends for a New Year’s Eve party at their home – just three days after Billie Dunn reported Hailey missing. Adkins downplayed the party, stating they just had a few friends over to the house to have drinks on New Year’s Eve.

– Billie Dunn volunteered to take a polygraph examination, but when she arrived, she was found to be “under the influence of narcotics,” and she was dismissed from the test at that time. On her second attempt, the investigators concluded there was “deception indicated.” After the examination, Billie Dunn was given the chance to discuss and explain “why she failed the examination.” Officials said she couldn't explain them, and she ended the interview by walking out.

– Adkins twice refused to take polygraph examinations. Then he agreed to a polygraph, but after providing some inconsistent information, he ended this polygraph by walking out. Officials said he failed the polygraph, particularly concerning the whereabouts of Hailey.

– During his polygraph examination, before walking out, Adkins provided some positive reaction about knowing where Hailey Dunn is. Indications were that Hailey may be in Scurry County.

– Adkins and Billie Dunn made two withdrawals of cash from an ATM machine in Snyder, in Scurry County, at about 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 27 totaling $140. They told investigators the money was for purchasing drugs.

– Numerous statements made by both Adkins and Billie Dunn, particularly Adkins, have been inconsistent, some with initial denials, then admissions, then changed statements.

This article reads to me as if Hailey was playing a video game at 9pm on Monday Dec 27.

On the night before Hailey’s disappearance, her 16-year-old brother, D, indicated that when he left the house at 9 p.m., Hailey was playing one of his video games in the living room in the house. Based on her skill level with the game, D said he expected her to play probably until midnight.

Adkins told authorities that on the day Hailey disappeared that Hailey was going to her father’s house, a block away, then on to a friend’s house. She never made it to either location.

It is my opinion, based on the affidavits, that Billie and Shawn took Hailey to Scurry for the drug run on the evening of Monday Dec 27, so I believe the article may be wrong about the date of playing the video game.

If you have something saying she played xbox at 9pm on Sunday Dec 26, I'd appreciate it.

This confused me too and I asked about earlier in the read. I read it completely differently than you do though. I read it as HD disappeared on Dec. 27. SA said on the day HD disappeared, she was going to her father's house. That would make Dec. 27th the day they believe she disappeared, which would make the night before she disappeared Dec. 26th.

Hailey Dunn was allegedly last seen by SA at 3:15 pm on the 27th ((((SA's story)))) when he says... that Hailey went walking to Dad's and then to a friend's house

this is the same day as the pings the same day as the drugs... the same day that DD enters the house thru the window... coming over from a sleepover that he left for the night before on the

26th....

at 9 pm when he last saw Hailey playing the xbox...

I wonder what the exact meaning of that is...DD knew what level she was on and figured she would play till midnight or when they took the xbox and told dd what level she was on he told them how long it would have taken her to get there?

From the save points on the game it could tell how long she had played it,approximately,so it seems like he was giving them more of a timeframe where she was alright playing the game.JMO They took the xbox,I'm assuming the games or maybe the game was even left in the system.

Saturday Dec 25

- Night - Hailey spends the night with her father, Clint Dunn, at his home "across the field" from Hailey's home with her mother, Billie Dunn.


Sunday Dec 26

- Hailey is at her father's home until an unknown time.

- 9pm - Hailey's brother, D, left the house at 9 p.m. At that time, Hailey was playing one of his video games in the living room. D says he'd expect her to play until about midnight.


Monday Dec 27

- Morning - Hailey's mother's live-in boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, goes to work, is fired, and then goes to his mother's home. Later, LE contacts his employer, who says Shawn is a good employee and was not fired.

- 6:10am - Shawn leaves his job. He tells LE he went right to his mother's home in Big Spring.

- 6:20am - Billie leaves for work. LE says her cell contacted the same cell tower as Shawn's during the same timeframe.

- 6:35am. until 6:56am - Cell phone records indicate Shawn's cell contacts towers in Scurry County.

- 12 noon - Neighbor sees Hailey in her back yard, talking on the phone.

- 3pm - Shawn returns home.

- 3:15pm - Hailey tells Shawn that she is going to her father&#8217;s, then to her friend, MB, home for the night. LE says Hailey left without any personal items, and never made it to her father's or friend's homes.

- 4pm - Hailey&#8217;s brother D comes home. He pounds on the front door for 5 minutes, and no one answers. He then goes in through a window, where he sees Shawn in a hallway with a &#8220;deer in the headlights look.&#8221;

&#8211; 6:20pm - Billie and Shawn make two ATM cash withdrawals of cash totaling $140. They later tell LE the money was to purchase illegal narcotics from someone in Scurry County for both their use.


Tuesday Dec 28

- Lunch time - Billie calls Hailey's brother, D, and tells him to text Hailey and tell her to go home.

- 2pm - When Billie comes home from work - Billie checks several places, then has a co-worker drive her to the PD, where she reports Hailey missing.


Wednesday Dec 29

&#8211; Billie goes to take a polygraph, but was found to be &#8220;under the influence of narcotics,&#8221; and the poly was cancelled.

&#8211; Shawn refuses to take two polys.


Thursday Dec 30

- Billie takes a poly. LE says there was &#8220;deception indicated.&#8221; Afterwards LE asks Billie to explain &#8220;why she failed the examination.&#8221; She's unable to, and walks out.

So I'm thinking IF BD had nothing to do with this SA was taking an awfull big chance that BD wouldn't call Hailey at MB's house to check on her. Is this why they went to get drugs at 6:20, he figured they would get messed up and BD wouldn't call to talk to her daughter? Just thinking in every direction. It's not necesarily what I think happened.

The affidavit also includes a statement from one of Hailey&#8217;s uncles, who was talking to Adkins about Hailey&#8217;s disappearance. The uncle said he could not believe that anyone would hurt a 13-year-old little girl.

The affidavit reports that Adkins replied, &#8220;Yah, it&#8217;s like killing a deer.&#8221;

The uncle recalled that Adkins often talked about how he kills deer, and then he would cut them up with a chainsaw.

I'm having severe flashbacks of the Cummmings household. This case gets more mysterious EVERY time I log in. I HATE what DRUGS do to people!!! And it seems that none of the adults involved are telling the truth again.

SO do we know if BD went and stayed at work Monday??
IS all this new information not enough for the LE to have both of them in custody at this time??
IMOO- if BD can not stay SOBER long enough to take a LDT to prove her innocence or help find her missing daughter she has a drug problem.
