Watching this, and I think some of you felt this in earlier impressions seeing pair speaking, I can't help but HOPE that other agencies are pursuing this case in a well,.. in the other "prong" of a "two prong approach."

Talking about investigative tools used---dogs, polygraphing, corroborating info, investigative interviewing techniques, etc.

As of today the criminal side has intensified and that where they're working from...I'm sure you're already aware of the affidavits and other leads –
We're very sensitive of that information which goes out in the media.
Also continuing possible runaway or missing girl aspect – those angles still being pursued as leads – all agencies still involved and committed to finding HD

Sparky taking over – (THANK GOD-my comment and not bashing) – search continuing – has always been a criminal investigation – recap along w/ what "pete" said – looking at multiple counties – canvassed Dunn area yesterday same type of canvassing as was done in CCity – have apx 80 sq miles that have been searched by helicopter, dogs, officers on foot – landfills (multiple), creek beds, etc. at this point interviewed over hundreds of witnesses that have either came forward or they requested to speak with…over 250 valuable leads and asking public to continue – as officers are avail they are following up on next leads. The affidavit that has come out b/cuz it's an on-going investigation sure there are lots of questions but he can't comment – but asking everyone to look at totality of document.
Going to questions – one that I got – is BD and SA suspects---uhhh, I can't answer that – what do you mean?
