Ok, the Mask he bought was from the movie The Collector. He seems obcessed with this character, it's the same mask worn in the pictures, so he already owned one when he ordered another one.
movie plot

"Clegg decides to add her to his 'collection' of pretty, petrified objects, in hopes that if he keeps her captive long enough, she will grow to love him. After careful preparations, he kidnaps Miranda by drugging her with chloroform and locks her up in the cellar of his house."

The_Collector

IMO The FACT he ordered that MASK before she disappeared and the FACT he was THRILLED with it so much he had to leave detailed feedback about it on Jan7th. I can't help but think he maybe following that Movie PLOT....and following that plot....she had been locked away somewhere.

How did this movie end?????

Ativan is sold on the streets. Any benzodiazepine is available on the street. HIGHLY addictive.

just a thought but last night on NG she stated that the atm they went to and then got food and stopped by her moms house.

just a thought what if her mom is the one got drugs for her or just gave them to her, and protecting her by not admitting on tv. It could be that it was just pills. The ativan is not somthing that is nornally sold on street, no one really knows what they are.. but it is the same as xanax...maybe mom may have had the ativan prescibed to her...and DB went to get some.

Were they in scurry at the atm.. why drive all the way there and go by moms for a few minutes.. why not go to atm and store close by. .. unless the main reason for trip to scurry was to go see the mom for some reason... but odd to drive there if it is kinda out of the way to stay for a few minutes..

IMO she MAY be protecting her mom by getting a few pills from her.. not even buying them.. maybe that is what she is saying NO about she didnt technically buy then she may have given them to her.

This is in reference to the true crimes books and such being a "hobby", as BD has stated, I believe. I admit I have not read all of the threads, but I do check in a couple of times a day. Anyway, what if the "hobby" part was re-enacting the crimes in the books? Or, maybe, practice? This makes me just sick even typing it. I could only watch one video, and that was plenty for me. :(

I wonder if the word "hobby" was a nice way to say "fetish"... ie role playing? y u c k

Agreed!!
Nurses are in short supply in Texas all the time, they offer beaucoups money to entice them to work, even LVN's make dang good money some places and pay incentives to take certain jobs or shifts. I would think once a person got that license, they would beg, borrow, or steal to keep it... but that's just me. I can honestly say that if I had ever been fortunate enough to get a nursing license, I would not let it lapse, come he77 or high water!!

you are so right!
I am disabled due to work injury. I was a day shift RN when I got injured. Well I tried to work midnights and did it maybe 2 to 3 years but then it was too much. So then I did midnights pediatric in home care. I loved it and did it until my Dr said no more in 2003. I still renew my license and it hangs by my bed under my nursing picture. I always say I can't let it lapse. Even though the $60-80 is just being hung on my wall. I worked hard for it. It would really kill me to give it up. I was/am already depressed BIG time since my nursing careerer is over.

What puzzles me is that the hospital actually offered her another position at the facility; i.e., ward clerk? We used to call them "unit secretaries". If what she did was such a legal issue, why would they choose to keep her on.
she failed to renew her license.... unit clerk position is not a patient care position....

they are most likely working with her/helping her out until she can reinstate her license.

The hobby part is driving me crazy :banghead: because I own true crime books and I'm here at websleuths all the time reading true crime. That doesn't mean she killed her daughter. There's nothing I have seen in any of the affidavits that make me think Billie is 100% involved. The "you should look into both of us' comment came from Shawn. Not a reliable source in my opinion. I think she's lied too about things involving her own character and that is why she failed the LDT. She's far from mother of the year but I haven't seen enough evidence indicating she's involved. Maybe that will change but at this point nothing is sticking in my opinion.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have bypassed this issue so many times because I'm worried about violating TOS. :silenced:

I leave it at: I find it very hinky so many people participating in a forum dealing with true crime find it hinky someone has printed out written material on true crime, and has claimed it a 'hobby'. :waitasec::waitasec::waitasec:

If Billie worked from 7 am to 7 pm on Monday Dec 27, how could she possibly be with SA at 6:19 pm making withdrawals from the ATM machine?

Yeah, that is true!? I think her friend that posted here said she worked 7-7:00, but has that been confirmed? In a nursing position, I could see her working 7-7, but in a clerical position I would think 7a-3p. Interesting!

Yes it is highly addictive. I take it for a medical diagnosis. I am a high functioning, single mom with 2 children that are in sports, I work part time and attend college full time. Ativan is not an excuse. Don't buy it!

Well, I am just totally baffled on this whole case. One minute I think BD is so pittiful and feel sorry for her. Then, out come the affidavits and bam, I'm back to thinking maybe she is hiding something. But reading this good post makes me really, really want to believe she is not doing any of these things because "mommies do not do these bad things". I know, I'm living in a dream world, right? May be I am not cut out for sleuthing. IDK. Will keep on trying but I have a lot to learn. Have not followed a ton of cases, and only two others did I become this attached to. Bless everyone for working so hard to get to the bottom of this and get Hailey back home.

Who did SA say this to, about not having said what he was alleged to say about Hailey?

Never mind, I just read the article...now HE is saying the police lied in the affadavits...
he gave an interview to the associated press today:sick:

ITA. In my opinion anyone who could get through nursing school is highly intelligent. I know I could have never done it.

With that said though, when I have been in the hospital lately or my family member, I have to wonder how some of the nurses we had actually did get through nursing school. LOL

I wouldn't call some of them HIGHLY intelligent, but they do have to have a basic education and believe me, deciphering doctors' orders can require a lot of smarts. But I have worked with some nurses who made me wonder how they managed to get through school, too. Matter of fact, a couple of them were dumber than a box of rocks, as far as their writing and spelling skills. But their practical skills were above reproach... they were extremely good at what nurses do.

I don't think people are being hypocritical, just considering everything in combination/addition to the printed materials. It's not just the one thing but all of it as a whole. The masks, the printed material, the witness that stated HD was scared, cell phone pings, videos, pictures, the affidavit etc......

from the link

"There is some promising news in the ongoing search for missing teenager Hailey "

The bones were likely an animal...how is that promising news? :waitasec:

bbm
maybe in the context that it's not human? Therefore, cannot be Hailey, that maybe she's still alive? :waitasec:

<snip from Timeline>

Where was it determined that she works 7 to 7? Do you remember?
