I totally agree. When I posted last night I said all this but I want to reiterate to see if anyone agrees/disagrees.

$140 (the ATM withdrawals) is the equivalent of about 4 Oxys (which can last up to 18 hrs per pill depending on if you're 'shooting or tootin'...injecting or insufflating) and the equivalent of approx. 20-40 benzos (varying greatly based upon mg and which particular type). If its a straight Vicodin or Norco drug deal, I'd guesstimate about 25 pills.

How much are date rape drugs? Anybody know? How much is needed to give to one person? How much is needed to give to two people?

I'm being lazy. :) I should research it myself lol.

Posting for reference:

More confirmation, per Billie, that Hailey had the cell phone at home with her that Monday.

BILLIE DUNN: Yes. They`re taking them to check out all the calls that were made on Monday. Hailey did have my cell phone at home and access to it. That would have been the cell phone she was on. She didn`t use Shawn`s cell phone, but they`re checking them both, getting the records off of both of those. And hopefully, we`re going to have answers from the cell phones tonight.

http://archives.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1101/04/ng.01.html

Why didn't Hailey pick up that phone and make a few seconds call to her mom to say she was going to her dad's and to MB's and wouldn't be home that night?

And why, knowing that Hailey had the cell right there with her, didn't Billie find it odd that her daughter hadn't given her a quick ring to let her know she'd be gone for the night?

And if that was the relationship between mother and daughter, that Hailey came and went as she pleased, and didn't bother to tell her mother, then why in the world would Hailey even bother to mention to her mom's bf where she was going?

Has anyone besides SA said they are engaged? When I first read that I thought he might have just said that, trying to get closer to BD as she was trying to distance herself from him.

I have been wondering that also...

cz??? do you know the answer to this question?

Well I just can't stay away...So I am reading during the breaks. They just asked the funniest question...Will Johnny Depp beat Johnny Depp? Oh carp he did not win best actor. Well back to the fantasy world of The Golden Globes!

DEAR GOD PLEASE BRING HAILEY HOME!!!!!!!!

Perhaps he was planning on staying at work but for some reason decided not to. Maybe there had been fighting at home... and he was trying to push but once he got there said "AH, screw it, I can't do it " and walked out. Maybe he had more pressing matters to attend to ? Who knows .... but SOMETHING made him behave that way. It's just WHAT that we don't know. I really wish we had some background on him. IE; how long had he worked there? what was his attendance record? has he held a lot of other odd jobs? I really wish we knew if this was a pattern for him or completely out of the norm.

Exactly! I believe whatever the reason was for him doing this would 'tell the tale' . Either he intended on staying at work like a normal day to create an alibi and couldn't pull it off, in which case something had already happened to Hailey OR something happened prior to make him mad (or perhaps on the phone on the way) and as someone else pointed out he was mad when he got there, thought about it, got angrier and went home and ???? something happened. I can't think of any other explanation for his odd behavior, given what we know...

We just REALLY don't know when whatever happened..happened...during the night/wee hours of the morning or sometime after about 6:30-7AM..and that's driving me nuts..

I have read every thread here about this case, signed up and read his posts on the MM forum, and watched all of those videos (to the detriment of putting off school work....yikes!). Under circumstances not surrounding this case, then I would see a bunch young guys trying to get attention with shock value. I actually laughed at how ridiculous some of those videos were.

Throw in the specifics of this case, then yes, it raises red flags with SA, along with a few other things. However, I still don't see it as alarming as a lot of posters here do. I know no one will agree with me, that's just my :twocents: on it.

In our town about 15 year ago a group of young people like this was into dungeons and dragons... and pretend murders...they had machetes, fantasy plays etc and one night one of the boys made plans to kill her PG girlfriend who was in the process of breaking up with him and another boy was to follow behind in another car to a secret spot in which to kill her ...Well the accomplice chickened out but the one boy killed her with the machete . She had many defensive wounds and was hacked up so bad she was not recognizable

I think its possible if you are have a violent type personality you might gravitate to this type of pretend fantasy murder stuff....and enjoy it a wee bit too much and I think its possible for this type of person they could have a problem with fantasy and reality and its easier to escalate to a crime....

But of course not all people who fantasize are gonna go that next step but after that has happened to a teen I knew I so leary of all this murder stuff...

That still befuddles me..:waitasec:..if he's thirsty, why not go to the store?..if he was trying to create an alibi, why not go in and pretend to get sick or something? ..but what in the world does going in, grabbing a soda and turning around walking back out in front of people, but speaking to no one do for SA?..what was he trying to accomplish? Was his original intention to go into work as an alibi..and then he was too freaked to stay? IDK..but that is troubling to me no matter how I look at it!

Maybe he saw a ghost....

Exactly -- she did it to EASE HER MIND. I'm telling you...SA did something that night, went somewhere, Hailey went with him, something. Something happened.

I heard her say that she looked in on Hailey, but did'nt go in and touch her to ease her mind, not that she looked in to ease her mind. Sounds to me like in her mind, she had no cause to worry, so she looked in, thought she saw her sleeping, and went to work. IF she had suspicions that SA did something, don't you think she would have made sure Hailey was alright, and not just left without checking to be sure?!
And if she wanted to lie about that why not take it all the way and say she did touch her and knew she was okay? Or just say that she didn't look in on her at all. She didn't... she said she couldn't be certain it was Hailey because she didn't touch her to ease her mind.
Why tell half a lie when a whole one would be better?

Well, we do have the admission that they purchased "illegal narcotics" for their own use in the affadavidt.
And we also know that at least (right now) she's taking narcotics and a strong anti anxiety med.

BD admitted to taking antbiotics and pain meds for a toothache, we don't know if she is still taking these, as for the Ativan, BD also admitted to being prescribed this medication after Hailey went missing.

The affidavit is the sworn testimony of the LE officer, it is not the sworn statement of BD, nor is it evidence.

there is one thing I keep coming back to in my had ... and it's Billie's recounting of how she came to realize that Hailey was missing.... something just does not ring true to me at all.

Without a time line I can't be exact, but she basically has said that she called her son and told him to text /call MA and tell Hailey to come home. She then says he calls her back and says (paraphrased) Mom, Hailey didn't spend the night there.

Then what? She calls CD from my understand and he says he hasn't seen her.... so she proceeds directly to the police department with a coworker to report her missing.

Then we have report that DD was pounding on the door for 5 mins and SA wouldn't let him in at 4:00. What was the actual time she was reported missing ? I thought it was earlier than 4 pm ?

So confusing. I am just not getting the proceed to the police station immediately response. I think most of us would have rushed home, called MA's mother or called MA. Even gone to their house. Called SA and verified that Hailey said she was going to be with MA and not another child. SOMETHING. Even calling 911 would have made more sense. The logical "next step" there doesn't seem to be to go straight to the police station.

I can't shake the feeling that BD knew exactly where Hailey was at that point in time so there was no reason to call MA, check with SA , etc. AND I further think she went straight to the police department because she knew from her reading that 911 calls can be used against you.... but a face to face filing isn't likely to be recorded right off the bat.

Me too this "time" bothers me for for another reason...
Hailey's lifeline to her friends was that cell phone....
if she had made plan with another friend and SA got the name wrong...
The cell phone is siting right in front of them....all she had to do is put it up and look to see if Hailey had called someone else that day...made other plans or to at least know she was alive and making calls on Monday....
but she doesnt scroll to look....I find it hard to comprehend.

(maybe it cant scroll back but it can text and store numbers)

All Billie has said is that LE has the phone now and they havent talked to her about any calls Hailey had made....

Billie is too passive I'd be asking them everyday....I'd want to know who talked to Hailey last and when:banghead:

hmmm good point. My girls come to visit and leave thier phone on my desk and it start making weird noise. So I figure out how to read texts:innocent:

So why wouldn't BD check the last call before she even called LE that would be the first place and first thing I would did.

If Hailey wasn't abducted by someone unknown, I think this is the major question that needs to be answered in order to find Hailey. Why the heck did SA make that strange and immediate departure from work on 12/27 a.m. - the official day HD went missing? It's way more suspicious than denials about drug transactions, horror fantasies, a New Year's Eve gathering/party... Some or all of those things may be related to why he left, but they are not that incriminating on their own (imo). That sudden departure from work however is incriminating on its own (even before we knew he pinged back in Colorado City, it was incriminating). Wonder what he told LE. Did he tell them that he had an altercation, like he apparently told Billie? Did he give them an alternate explanation before he clammed up? The 64,000 dollar question...

Dang it, where is Hailey?!!!

One thing that could have made him leave..... a phone call or text. That just occurred to me.
However, if SA has a habit of bad attendance, quitting jobs, walking out, etc. I don't think we can read much into this action at all.

I wonder of the reason SA left work was that he got there on auto-pilot then realized he was still high from the night before and couldn't function well enough to 'pass'....

  • #316
I like to hear from the person who supplied the ride for BD Monday morning and whoever gave her the ride to LE's office. I think her/his insight would be extremely telling. And if that person is standing by BD now.

Maybe he saw a ghost....

If he is guilty of what I'm so afraid he is, I hope he sees one every day for the rest of his life..

2 different days. DD got home at 4 on Monday 12/27 and pounded on the door. Hailey was reported missing on Tuesday 12/28..

Yes, I saw them ALL before they were pulled. Actually I was in the last few minutes of the last one when they started disappearing.

And yes, I've seen lots of that "kind" of stuff out of teenagers in my daughters own school.... some of whom are actually really good kids. One closely related photo that I cannot get out of my head when anyone questions SA's pictures is of my daughters BOYFRIEND and his friend standing dressed in all black with MASKS on - one with a baseball bat slung over his shoulder and the other holding what looks like a billy club.

It's a very "scary" looking picture. What were they doing ? Going out to smash mailboxes. Immature, illegal, dumb ... but really in the long run ... if that's the worst they are doing I'm not sure it's really all that bad when I know these are boys who are good students, involved in school, involved in anti-drug and abstinence programs, good to their families and friends, etc.

The relative and friends were teenagers in the videos bellyup. SA was a man in his early twenties. He is at least 7 or 8 years older than his cousin. I don't see his participation as being "dumb teenager stuff". Not much of a good influence on his younger relative and yet he was living with a 33 yr old woman with two teenage children not long after. :waitasec:
