As she is a nurse, I'd hope she'd have used the appropriate acronym if she was referring to a medical/mental thing, so MHMR is probably correct. Not yet sure myself what it MEANS.

I think the acronym is correct that she used - MHMR is the Texas Department of Mental Health and Retardation. Like someone in Texas said, the acronym is used to describe a patient as well. My guess is she was doing just that in her phone call - as the person on the phone with her didn't ask what that meant but seemed to understand.

When I first read it w/o knowing what the MHMR is, I thought she was trying to say either MMR or MMH (both of which describe the same thing), but somehow got the two acronyms merged into one. Or using them both - "he's a little MH -- MR" -- but it got typed as one. That is actually my field of expertise - and hear people use all kinds of acronyms to try to describe it at times, especially since the terminology has changed a little over the years.

Once I heard what MHMR is, I still think she was saying the same thing but using the acronym commonly used in Texas to describe such a person.

LOL, I just have to say, being from TX and having this same exact opinion, it is making me think the statement "Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs" would have people looking into connections with the cereal company.

Sorry, people, I'm not trying to be snarky or anything like that, it just is starting to make me laugh.

In the meantime..Billie Dunn is Done < JMHO not bashing in any way, I believe she knows what has happened. She MAY NOT have had anything to do with it..but she knows what Shawn Atkins is capable of and IMO withheld that information from LE. That tells me all I need to know...

eta~and when a person KNOWS what happened, there's no reason to ask..thus why on Nancy Grace she confirmed that she had not asked Shawn any questions regarding anything really..I now know why she didn't ask him anything...

I am a little late posting here and just in the beginning of this thread. I have been on and off the fence about Billie too. Is it possible that the fear we are seeing in her is because she is afraid for her or her son's life because of the "other POIs" as well as SA? She has spent many hours with LE, even going to the house with the Texas Rangers. She may have shared some very pertinent information about him with LE, and they have asked her to continue "supporting" SA to aid in the investigation. Maybe? I just can't wrap my head around her knowing what has actually happened to her daughter, or covering it up. At least right now, I can't.

TDMHMR(Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation) was the agency in Texas that provided services. Some years back Texas merged the MH and MR into two diffrent agencies. The link above shows what each new agency handles. I have never heard anyone refer to a person as being MHMR because it is actually an agency. Usually it is stated that this person needs the help of MHMR or they get services from MHMR. Interesting the way she put it...so I wonder if SA is receiving/ or has recieved services from MHMR?

Right, usually it's MHBAR- Mentally Handicapped Beyond All Recognition
It's a putdown, not actually directed at a person with real mental disabilities.

I never lived anywhere where we had to lock the doors or windows, until now. I don't find that unusual. They probably have low crime statistics.

IMO... Locks are for honest people. In general, if you do NOT lock your door, the only person who would know that is someone who tries the knob. And if they are doing that, they are already predisposed to breaking in. If THAT is the case, and they find the door is locked, they can break a window (WHY do they make those things out of something as fragile as GLASS? *LMAO*) to gain entry. Look at your windows and consider how little security the locks on your door actually provide.

It is certainly discouraging. I find it hard to believe these guys were really worried about BD's call. I'm sure they "did their job" but they didn't do a very good job of being professionals.

Does LE dislike domestic disputes because it is less exciting than bank robberies? It seems to that the domestic disputes are where you PREVENT the crimes from happening while the other stuff is where you clean up and whip out the handcuffs. I'm a big fan of prevention myself.

I read something awhile back about stupid 911 calls, and it was hilarious in a weird sort of way. People calling 911 because of crazy stuff. Somebody got the wrong order at a fast food place. A neighbor's dog pooped on somebody's yard. Somebody else called because their husband was snoring and they couldn't get to sleep. There are too many to remember, but sometimes the public abuses the system... it's not the cops' fault if they get frustrated. Having to respond to a domestic dispute to the same place for the 3rd or 4th time in the same day, and it turns out to be nothing.... well, that could get annoying, doncha think?

What they DO hate is when they get a call and by the time they arrive, somebody's been shot or stabbed or the wife's face is beaten to a bloody pulp. Or when a child is seriously hurt because he got in the way trying to protect his mommy. Or they have to shoot some poor slob who points a gun at the cop and threatens to kill him for interfering in his "bizness."
And it's all in a day's work.

New images of Dunn have been released by one of her teachers, Andra Maxwell of Colorado Middle. Maxwell was able to release the images after receiving permission from the family.

I'm watching BD's face while the calling is talking about what happened to Zahra,what SA could have done to Hailey with a mask and machete and she doesn't change expression.I don't understand this,I would breakdown.

She's clearly being deceptive about her lifestyle, but I don't think she was or is involved in Hailey's disappearance, or knows where she can be loacted, or in what condition. I discussed the case with my daughter last night, and we both can't get our heads around SA being involved. It seems so obvious that it doesn't make sense... IYKWIM... NOBODY is THAT stupid... right?

The only thing the 911 calls convince me of is that BD and SA were/are manipulators. With each other and probably with everyone else. If BD was concerned about SA going into the house to get his shirt, it seems like she would have locked up before leaving for work. For all I know she might have wanted him to get the shirt while she was home so she could convince him not to leave her. All in all I'm still convinced that if one of them did something to Hailey the other was just as involved. IMHO only.

One last thing::: did anyone find out why HD went to several schools and did so much moving around? Did the family move around? This could involve someone from a past place.

In 20+ years of teaching, I've never seen a kid that age from a split home that moved around a lot and lived in different places and households and go to different schools be a well-adjusted "straight A student." Forgot to add...and a house with domestic issues.

I am thinking this girl may have had a self-preservation instinct that served her well. She may have realized when things were "getting bad" and gotten herself out of there so she COULD keep up with her schoolwork and not be dragged into the family drama as often.

She was TRYING to get out when she vanished.

What a beautiful, wholesome young lady Hailey is! She has such a great smile. Seeing these pics just make me very sad because Hailey seems so full of life and how dare anyone do anything to her.

Not only that, but if Hailey was aware of those threatening calls/texts from SA to Billie, it is no wonder that baby-child was so scared of SA.

She must have been terrified of him.

I think it was telling when SA said he loves HD with all his heart and SHE loves him with all her heart. HUH??? Could that indicate he did have a "relationship" with her, one of molestation? The testimony given by others was that she was afraid of him. I tend to believe that.

Why do you believe they did? I doubt there's a lot of extra money floating around that household. Billie isn't working. Is this becasue CZ took her online to try to get information about the cell phone records? My assumption was that this was done on CZs PC.
