About BD not locking doors and windows.... with an interest in reading about serial killers and gory crime, it sure didn't have much effect on her. I was even more vigilant about windows and doors after starting to read at a crime forum that deals with the missing and not even usually the gory type crimes .

About SA's masks, they remind me of zombies in a way.

And, about officers or dispatch comments on the 911 call: They probably get so sick of domestic disputes where they are called but the people don't even split up and start trying to defend the person they called on in the first place. That is exactly what happened in this case.

And again,I tell you, there is something seriously wrong with this picture.

Not so odd for a 16 year-old to hoard the x-box in his room, then he doesn't have to share:rocker:. DD was guessing how long Hailey would be playing, he didn't know for sure since he wasn't home. She could have easily played for an hour, saved her game and moved on. IDK. BD now states it was 10 or 11:00 is when Hailey was watching TV in bed.
The time did push from 10 til 10 or 11, didn't it?

The not locking windows thing...it was brought up during this case that a window was found unlocked, and that led some to go back to the runaway theory or even abduction. But now on the tapes we hear that unlocked windows were not uncommon in this house.

so do we know why sulfuric acid was even brought up in this case? Did SA's employer find some missing or something?

WOW - I go do the dishes and actually take care of some housework and come back to this!!!

i was thinking either that day or maybe there are other times she has called 911 on him.....

the officer that answered the call made it sound like they had been dealing with her all day long....or maybe even had dealt with them both in the past

Remember - she WENT to the polcie station to report Hailey missing. I kinda think after hearing these calls that the officers in that small town got to know her quite well. She even says "Hello Jeremy" like she's talked to him before. Which I believe she had THAT day. She even says I can't come down there - I don't have a car. I think she did this alot - going to the police station. That could explain why we are hearing details that are not in the calls. She did say that SA had texted her - and I would like to think that she showed the officer that - which was probably why they finally acted and took SA in.

Yep, I took it from the call that maybe LE was used to them and probably just didn't really bother with them other than to make sure they hadn't choked each other or something.

YEP! They went at each other and used LE as the weapon. "Well I call the cops and tell them that you did this!" "OH YEA? Well I call them and tell them that you did that. Back and forth and back and forth. Remember the very first call was about SA wanting to get his T-shirt back. One lousy stinking T-shirt and she was all worried.

Not only that, AFTER that nightmare..of course she did what any reasonable, good thinking mother would do. She moved him INTO the freaking house!!!!! Poor Hailey, her mind was probably a swirl of emotions and fear...

Don't forget not only moved him in but risked her job by printing out 258 page of murder, crime, blood and gore. Not only that - she told Hailey that regardless of how Hailey felt about him she had to be RESPECTFUL to him!

I would like to see how many reports she filed in the past year - unless you know about them you can't ask for them. 911 calls are easy - we KNOW they make those. But I said from the beginning about her going to the station - she didn't want a 911 call on tape.

One thing I wanted to point out but didn't see in catching up. This happened on Valentines Day last year. The date of the calls was 2/14/10

And I don't think SA is a sociopath - nope, he done graduated - I believe he is a full-fledged card carrying psychopath. I just hope he didn't make good on his promise to do something that will be remembered for a long time!!!

Well I hate that cz is now gone..but I do understand. This has changed people's lives...it has changed my life. Never did I think something could happen like this here in our little town. This is a town where people know and call me by my name at the Sonic...they have my burrito waiting for me most mornings at the Cold Spot. When I was 8 months pregnant, I came home and got out of my car, only to realize there were not one, but three rattlesnakes coiled up around the car. I ran to go into the house and found yet another snake on the front porch. When I made it back to my car I called for help. Within probably 5 minutes, I had the Mayor, 2 neighbors and a sheriff's deputy at my house. They killed 3 snakes, one got away. We never have locked up our house, and I usually leave my keys in the truck. We interrupt football games on the radio to report a lost dog....people in this town are just incredible.
I have to believe Billie had nothing to do with this. I admire cz so much for standing up for Billie and for being a true friend. I will continue to post also because I have to know what happened for my own peace of mind.

The only thing that surprised me in the 911 tapes was how well the policemen knew Billie.....

The reaction (in Call #2) when the dispatcher told the officer the name of the caller was
Priceless...

It didnt hear Billie say SA was going to kill Hailey .....just Billie and Clint

Saying "it will be remembered for a long time."...sounds like a very serious threat much more serious than just saying " Im gonna kill you"

Something was happening with SA and Billie but I dont think it was only that SA used her debit card.....why would he want to kill Clint for that reason...or Hailey....

bbm~

Exactly!..wonder why THAT is?

Here is what I would like to know. If BD took SA so seriously that she called 911. She took him so seriously admitting she didn't trust him enough to enter her house to retrieve a t-shirt. What changed in one year where she is having such a difficult time believing SA could have any part of Hailey being gone? There is something missing here.

bbm

BD's priorities can be surmised from these 911 calls, IMO.

http://bigcountryhomepage.com/fulltext/?nxd_id=332786

It would seem that BD cared more about the material possessions SA might steal from her house (while retrieving his tee shirt) than she did about her children's well-being:

"I don't want him in there while I'm gone, because I don't know what he'll take."

The following items are the very first things BD expressed concern about in her 911 call:

"So I am kinda worried he could walk out with a TV or anything, my son's X-Box."

She attempted to feign concern for her son as an after-thought (apparently, the TV or the X-Box ranked higher on BD's scale of who or what is most important, since she mentioned those items first in her 911 call):

"Another thing, my 15 year old son may be there also. He stayed with a friend last night but he may be home by now. So I don't want him going over there causing problems with him either."

IMO, BD's priorities are totally out of whack, as we have seen with regards to her numerous statements about SA and his possible guilt/innocence and her continuing feelings of love for him.

GRACE: Now, what time did you see her last, the night before?

DUNN: I saw her about 10:00 or 11:00 in her bedroom.

GRACE: Was she still playing games?

DUNN: No. She was watching TV, laying in bed.

When I interviewed Billie last week, she did tell me that Hailey had gotten a TV for her room for Christmas. She said Hailey was so excited about it too....she said alot of times before Hailey would just sleep on the couch, watching tv until she fell asleep.

I know DD said he saw HD playing XBox. Did BD say it as well? I can only remember her saying the bed part, but then it's been a long few weeks with lots of information, misinformation and reinformation thrown at us.

We've heard she was playing the xbox and she was watching tv,I don't know. It's all rolling together and the more we find out,the more it becomes confusing. But DD mentioned something about her playing in the living room at 9pm,with her skill level she'd be playing till midnight. So,I'm assuming by that remark, the point it was saved at she was probably playing till midnight.Maybe she went back into the living room to play more xbox after 10 or 11pm.

yes it did, I'm figuring she thought she needed a little more 'wiggle room' for some reason..

Hi everyone, I am an avid lurker and I don't say much. I am addicted to this thread and many others, and have been here since Miss Caylee brought me here.

I understand raising an eyebrow at the police, but I also understand why at first they did not take her seriously and why they did not deem the two of them "credible" witnesses. Seriously, if you were Hailey, would you RUN away? Many of us hope she did.

Anyway, have a great night everyone and I hope we are all wrong and she is out there somewhere.

BBM - OMG, first that is careless and 2nd, when I sit in the living room reading WS and I hear a noise it scares the bejeezus out of me so maybe the slasher flicks have desensitized (sp) her.:waitasec:

I think it can be important to know everything in a parent's life that could introduce other adults in their home, or perhaps about any enemies a parent may have made in their work, etc...and if drugs are a part of their life, that can be crucial too, as it adds another element of people to the equation. I don't think most of us really care what Clint or Billie do, unless it could be relevant to someone getting close to Hailey.

I saw the tv,my point is if DD figured she had played from 9pm to midnight, three hours and she was in her room at 10 or 11pm,did she go back out into the living room to play? Was SA still up,etc.
