This has probably been discussed many threads ago, but something I've just thought of and wanted to mention. Haylie being said by SA to be wearing navy sweat pants and a light colored T shirt sounds more like something a young girl might wear to sleep. Some girls might wear a sweat pant with the boots and a hoodie, but a light colored T shirt in the winter when going over to spend the night with a friend? Taking no jeans, shoes, or other things even though girls might get a chance to walk around town, eat out, or go someplace fun that night. Yeah right.

I thought the same thing until a few minutes ago, when I recalled my daughter and her friends in Middle School (6 years ago). Some of them wore sweats every day, particularly the ones who were athletic, as we know Hailey was (track, volleyball, cheer, and something else... ). They wore them to school, the mall, and even out to eat when I'd take a group of them out. I had her 13th birthday at a sit-down restaurant, since some of her friends had never really eaten out except fast food. I had to put on the invitations that jeans and sweats were not acceptable this time.

Why did she not even talk to Hailey's friends' mother after she knew Hailey was gone..only the friend? Not to say that the friend wasn't/isn't trustworthy..but if my child has disappeared without a trace and I truly believed that she was supposed to have been spending the night at this house..yet she still doesn't even speak to mom to see if she has any idea what's going on...It's beyond me how anyone can think that is normal...:waitasec:..

I believe that CZ said she did call the other child's mother, so she did speak with her but did not meet with her face to face. Most of those moments probably are a blur to her now, and when asked the question on national television she probably couldn't recite every step, minute by minute. I admit that at this time I am perplexed by some of what BD has said, and her behavior at times.

LOL

Its just BD complaining because she doesn't like the way Nancy grace portrays her.

Although I found this little tidbit interesting:

"Anything bad that they can find on us, true or untrue, they put up there over and over and over again,"
US?? Is she referring to her and SA? "Us" as in a couple?

She doesn't like how the show is portraying SA. And since she said earlier that she doesn't think SA is involved, I am willing to bet the "untrue" things she references are the videos and murder stories.

She is fundamentally contradicting herself here. If "she'll continue to do whatever it takes to get her daughter's face in the media" then she shouldn't be complaining, because sometimes not looking like the greatest mother in the world is okay - especially if it means you might find out what happened to your daughter.

I wonder if SA has complained to BD about how he is being portrayed and that is what lead to this gem of an article.
:cow:

So what is she referring to as being "untrue" that would be worth losing her platform that NG provides? It does seam that she continues to protect SA...cant believe love is that blind when her daughter is missing.:waitasec:

There is so much information that BD has that if she would just lay it on the line could really help in finding her daughter. She had to know going in how NG is and that she would be asked the hard questions. For goodness sake anyone that has watched NG knows she dosent mince words. Actually I think NG has gone pretty easy on BD.

IMO Billy needs to sit down and make a minute by minute timeline and then go visit the police not leaving out one thing ...good or bad...Now is not the time to wear feelings on her shoulder....Now is the time to FIND HAILEY!!

IMO, BD wants this all to 'go away' so she and SA can be back together in their AWESOME world...................Hailey who?????

Talking about HD case now on NG.

respectfully snipped

where was the phone on Tuesday did she leave it home again?

Yes. Remember, she called DD to see if Hailey was home, he texted MB, did not get a reply, and so he called.

I'm not sure she kicked him out. There was that one report that D told the Texas Ranger that Shawn had disappeared.

And all this happened on Jan 5, the day of Billie's poly. And Billie said she was questioned for 10 or 12 hours. And Billie says Shawn's aunt picked him up from his poly and took him to his grandmother's house. And that was the same day.

So Billie was in being interrogated while that happened.

I think Shawn was gone when she got home, and that's when D went to the Texas Ranger.

I )just never thought she kicked him out. Didn't make sense. She 'loves' him.

BBM

And...have you noticed how she always talks about her relationship with him in the present tense? When NG inquired about the 911 calls, BD discussed the way that she and SA talk (present tense) to one another. Lots of other times, too.

However, she always speaks of Hailey in the past tense.

My opinion of why she didn't call? I think it would be real hard to confront another person when you knew it was a lie.................:innocent:

In the affidavits, police said they had obtained information that Dunn and Adkins hosted a New Year's party just days after Hailey was reported missing. Adkins told investigators the couple just had a few friends over for drinks.

Sorry, it was just a brief moment. I was hoping.

Dunn says she's though twice about participating in the show. At one point during Wednesday's broadcast, she even walked out.

hmmmmmmm..............that was the tooth pulling night wasn't it?

The majority of that show was over the 911 calls, which do give a small look into the nature of BD and SA's relationship.

What they do not do is tell us where Hailey is!!

Why can't we get updates on where the case is at this point? Why can't we get questions answered, such as "where was SA on Tuesday"? Things that could help us find Hailey. Their "investigative" reporters sure do seem to be able to dig up other unreleased "facts".

BD needs to do what Kimster suggested......take control of the direction of the show. It's hard to do with NG, but it has been done before.

All MOOOOOOOOO

"Anything bad that they can find on us, true or untrue, they put up there over and over and over again," said Dunn.

I find myself constantly breaking out into schmoopy love songs these days. DH doesn't understand it.

Maybe it was SA's sofa and he wanted it.

There's a sofa in her house when she is being interviewed there. I wasn't disputing whether Shawn owned the sofa and had a right to take it, just wondering, IF that was the case, how Billie managed to furnish the living room so quickly, in light of being "broke".

I wonder if when you're going through the stress of a missing child your emotions follow the same path as grieving. The first step is denial, the second is anger.
fyi http://www.memorialhospital.org/library/general/stress-the-3.html
The grieving process isn't limited to a known death in the family. People suffer grief...and all the steps...over many things...a house burning down, the loss of a job, even getting clean and sober. So yes, I imagine a person who has a child who has been missing for a month would be grieving like crazy.

BUT the anger is usually aimed at the person, person or things that initiated the grieving process in the first place...NOT the people trying to help you. That doesn't mean someone doesn't lash out at those around them, but we don't see that initial anger aimed at the instigator in this case at all. She is not displaying anger toward the person or persons who caused/aided or abetted in the disappearance of her child.

Do we have a link about the sofa? Thanks.

  • #498
Right. But that was never said in the warrant papers like that article says.

Sorry. My comment was directed toward the person who said Klonopin, and the one who said Xanax. I was just stating that it was Ativan and it was prescribed.

Well supposedly they used the ATM money to buy drugs of some sort so who knows what kind of mental state they were in. I don't there are many drug users out there that wil buy drugs and save them for a later date. Therefore I am assuming whatever they bought was used on that evening. So it is no surprise for me that she can't get her times straight.
Also, did she go to work with a drug hangover?

If it was weed there would be no hangover.
