Well I am not sure I want to make any more comments at this point.

Allow me to snag this as a reminder. I'm not picking on you guys. There's been an issue and I mentioned it yesterday and will take advantage of this post to remind those who may not have seen it.

If a local states they would rather not answer a question OR they don't say anything at all, please don't repeatedly ask them the same question over and over. Our locals have been very gracious, but they also don't want to impede an investigation, for one example of why they need to be careful in what they post.

Thanks for understanding!

I remember when I was 13, I was on the phone constantly. I find it really strange, the night of the 26th she would have not called someone...let alone the next day. I wonder how many calls or txts to her went unanswered?

Especially right after Christmas!

The doors to the rooms are on the outside in the parking lot aren't they? Maybe that's a wall she liked to lean up against where the signal was good.

MOO

It just seems all the conflicting issues that LE is really quick to explain it away with "cannot confirm" or whatever.

The sightings, the dogs and the very specific route they traced.

MBs mom could have confirmed if hailey had seen her sunday or the last time Hailey walked to her house.

The step mom could have confirmed the sunday dollar store and the son was inside all day on monday.

The dog I dont even understand as they never said they had Hailey there anyday on video. The wifi is speculation.

We, of course do not know what LE knows but they are not forthcoming with anything to relieve me that Hailey was not abducted by a sex offender. They have made me wonder if SA did something with Hailey but they havent convinced me of that.

LE 's multiple listings of reasons Hailey is missing has cast doubt in my mind that they have a clear idea of what happened.

So they bloodhounds tracked Hailey to a specific room according to this article. I dont know why this article and the bloodhound were debunked Can anyone tell me?

Yes. LE wanted to stay tight-lipped about the bloodhound findings and told Billie so; Billie mentioned that and decided to give her interpretation of the bloodhound results on NG.

Kampfer then made a statement that the bloodhound information that was communicated was inaccurate and could be explained by a lot of things. We since learned the hounds never tracked Hailey to the motel and Hailey was not there in the 30 days of video the hotel kept. The dogs had been taken to several motels and hit on one. It could be a false hit. The dogs would have picked up on scents in places last traveled by Hailey; she was always going towards Clint's and towards MB's direction. Sarx explained about the fact that scents aren't date stamped or anything like that.

Billie's friend had posted about the bloodhounds just after talking to Billie about it. She later asked that her bloodhound-related posts be deleted.

The bloodhound results originally communicated were misleading and have since been dismissed by all according to all reports.

Especially right after Christmas!

It would be very telling, I believe, if Hailey did not make any calls or texts from sometime on Sunday on...and especially if the 2pm Monday text is determined to have been made from outside of CC. Something like this could account for the issues with electronics not matching up, or however LE put that.

I think the key to alot of unanswered questions are on BD phone. Wish they would release it. :)

Can someone explain to me the open records request and can anyone request records? tia

Why does Billie care so much "how everyone thinks"? And I still don't get why she is so determined to point out that Hailey was alive the morning of Dec. 27th. What does that have to do with SA and 3pm? Or is it because she found out later that SA was in fact in CC that morning?
Well, for one thing, it rules her out as a suspect if we accept that Haleigh was last seen at 3:15 on Monday the 27th, the presumption being that she met her fate some time late Monday afternoon.

The truth is, it's possible that she actually went missing later than that. Another 22 hours passed before Hailey was pronounced missing. SA's whereabouts are largely unaccounted for, and Billie herself has some unaccounted time. A lot could've happened between Monday and Tuesday afternoons. I'm not insinuating anything, but the timeline's loose.

Using your post to justify my ramblings...

When I was 13, we had no cell phones, we had landlines, that were just called phones in my day. Our phone was right next to our little tiny pantry, which I would get into for some privacy, and I got into lots and lots of trouble for absentmindedly picking many labels off of many cans while I was in that pantry talking on the phone.

Anyway, this kind of illustrates to me, once again, how difficult this case is. According to statements, there is no landline at BD's house; there is her cell phone and SA's cell phone. Money appears to be tight, and we have no idea what kind of plan BD's phone is, other than a 'disposable' type of phone. It could be pay by the minute or pay by the day, or whatever other options these phones have I'm not aware of. BD says she left her phone at home for the kids to use. It's not clear if it was that day, over the holidays, or if it was a regular daily occurence, even when the kids had school.

There have also been some unconfirmed reports over whether Hailey was even staying there leading up to her disappearance.

All this tells me is IDK if Hailey had regular access to a phone or not to be on it 'all the time' or not. If she normally didn't have a phone, she might have been so used to not talking to her friends on the phone she didn't bother much when she did have a phone. Without knowing where Hailey was for the month of December and without having access to whatever phones she would have been able to use for that month, it's hard, IMO, to make any reasonable assumptions on if that even comes into play.

That's a good point. We don't know if there were other people at the house on 12/26 p.m. or Monday, 12/27 for that matter. If so, no one has volunteered that information (or it hasn't been released). Maybe the unnamed POIs visited? Interesting thought...

Yet it hasnt been explained by alot of things. Interesting. Being Kampfer was the who said it could be.

It could have been a false hit, yes, but I noticed it said DOGS . so more then one? It also might not have been a false hit.

I still dont understand why LE released t to the media before they where sure about it. Since they dont release much it seems I do not get this.

I cannot keep overlooking and blowing off stuff that people have told reporters they witnessed or saw or whatever because the LE office cannot confirm anything. There is a theme . The dogs the text ,the hairdresser, ..

My mom just got a "throwaway cell". It's from Boost mobile and it's $50 a month flat fee for unlimited minutes text and data. For every few months you pay on time the bill goes down. It can get as low at $35/mo for unlimited everything. That's cheaper than a land line when you figure in long distance calls. Maybe she had a plan like that and the kids being on all the time wouldn't be cost prohibitive.. just a thought...

Perhaps because all the tips that were coming in at the time were leading them to believe that she had an older boyfriend and that she was seen with MB and another boy on the Monday night. And seen during the day. It appeared to be a classic case of lying about spending the night with a friend to spend time with another friend that your parent's wouldn't approve of.

MOO

That covers Monday night. If that was the case, she'd have been home Tuesday afternoon with nobody the wiser. When she wasn't home by Wednesday it was pretty clear that this wasn't a likely scenario.

I was about to post the same thing. I have relatives in Texas with three teenagers between 13 and 18. They live on a tight budget, and Boost mobile has worked out well for them. Those kids live on the phone. If they're not texting, they're talking or posting on FB. I can't imagine that HD was much different.
