The text to MB....was it in the affidavits?

Amster, I'm beginning to think that the affidavits are a figment of my imagination..I've been reading over the last hour or so and am amazed at how many have discounted, dismissed, don't believe, reworded just about everything in there...based on WHAT? As far as I can see, nothing but ASSUMPTION..or telling us what *LE meant to* or *Should have said*..and now, even some insist it's wrong based on Billie's time-line! The SAME TIME LINE that leaves out confirmed info..adds in unconfirmed and says something completely different than what she has said on prior occasions. The same time-line that LE has said does not line up with theirs in some places (but, hey what does LE know about the evidence or facts in this case?) Worst of all..the same time-line that SA ..the only named suspect ...almost certainly helped create! I don't get it..How can you say that the affidavit is incorrect in any way with NOTHING to back that up? ..:banghead:..Maybe it is..IDK..I think that LE has much more info than they did then...but I sure would like to see some proof of that by the ones that keep throwing out reasons why we should read it differently than it clearly states...

So which siting exactly does BD want LE to believe or focus on? Which family does she want to be scrutinized? I'm sure they have all been interrogated, and there's a good chance that all of their alibis and movements for that day don't support the witness sitings. Just what does BD expect LE to tell her other than we cannot corroborate the sitings with what we believe happened that day and your boyfriend is now the #1 suspect in your daughter's disappearance. What about that doesn't she understand?

MOO

I agree with everything you said in your well-written post.

I speculate that SA is bombarding BD with all kinds of stories about how everyone else including LE is wrong, that he would never hurt HD, everyone is telling untruths, poor little old me.... etc., etc.

And she is blinded by love or lust or whatever, and is totally being bamboozled by SA.

I can see this happening because it almost happened to me, but in a less tragic way -- it concerned $$ that was stolen from a co-op association. This man had lied to his wife and everyone about his entire life. When I found out the truth, practically no one would listen. Ultimately, his wife believed him until she came face-to-face with all the lies and could not ignore then.

These types of people (I believe they are sociopaths) are really good at what they do. SA may not be the brightest of the brightest, but it is my opinion that he has BD believing him, and thus this timeline was constructed and presented to the public.

The only thing wrong with the picture is that the timeline pretty much forgets to account for SA's movements on December 28th (pretty much no mention) which leave a pretty glaring and gaping hole in it.

There is not much to be done for BD right now. She will not believe anything bad of SA until there is absolute proof that he did something to Hailey. IMO law enforcement knows this and are only giving her the basic facts because they know she will pass everything along to SA.

I continue to pray that Hailey is found soon and I pray for her daily.

lol, I was trying to see why the trip to Dunn was mentioned yesterday. I think it did two things, one it gave a reason for the phone to ping in C.City without SA being at the house, and two it's covers a ping in the Dunn area. The problem with her time line is, the phone was pinging in the C. City for 21 minutes. So he had to have spent some time there, not just drove through. Also her time line put him in Big Spring "around" 8am. A straight trip from Dunn would have put him there at 7:35, I can go with that being "around 8am", but what I can't go with is the fact that his phone didn't start pinging in the Big Spring area until 9:38 am. So her time line, FAIL. lol.

this is huge!!!!!!!! wow excellent sleuthing teh!!!!

I find it interesting how the timeline and original events change to fit what info LE has released. I also find it interesting how BD explains away SA's involvement without him saying a word. <Gotta let mama speak for you shawn?> I mean it's time for Shawn to man up and face LE in clearing himself.

Regarding the polygraphs, not that I believe they could or should be used in a court of law but they are a tool for LE to determine who to look at as possible POI's.

I believe they are also doing the two pronged investigation where they have their suspect but also investigate other possibilities to either rule in or rule out their importance. If the case went to trial you can bet those tips will be asked about and LE will have a answer.

Personally I just see her statement as another part of the whole picture and didn't expect anything earth shattering although I may have to re-read it a few times more to untangle some verbiage.

Wasn't she supposed to take questions today, did she?

Maybe Tuesday is an important day for LE. They have all the pings. If they dont release it no one can fill in any holes. Same as BD phone for Monday. They arent releasing it for a reason.

Perhaps, intelligence going backwards.

And then we have this:

GRACE: When did you first learn she was missing?

CLINT DUNN: I seen her the day before. Later on that night, D came over -- my son came over and asked me...

BILLIE DUNN: Tuesday.

CLINT DUNN: ... or Tuesday, he came over asking me if I had seen her, if she`d came over that day. And I hadn`t.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1101/04/ng.01.html

And from yesterday:

http://media.reporternews.com/media/static/Billie_Dunn_Timeline.pdf

12:00pm: BD calls DD, who is at home. DD tells her that HD is not back yet, so BD tells him to text her friend and have HD come home. The friend says HD did not come over. DD calls BD back and relays this information. BD has him go to CD's house to see if HD was there. NS tells DD that HD did come over on Monday, but did not stay there. BD talks to CD, and tells him that she is leaving work to come to Colorado City and report HD missing.

She also says in her statement:

"After telling CD how worried I was, I told him I was going to get a ride home and report HD missing to the police. I asked him to call the PD and let them know I was coming. He agreed to make the call but for some reason he never did".

So, according to BD's timeline, night (when CD said he found out she was missing) is now a little after noon, and NS saw her for a "minute" and CD didn't call LE like he said he would.

Both these stories can't be true. So, which is it?

FWIW, I have a little hobby - I like to try to put together little profiles on people

THIS IS NOT TO BE TAKEN AS FACT - it is for possible insight only - this is a very brief profile, but I think it's fitting for the most part on our person of interest:

this person is a leader and originator, can be emotional and status conscious. Our person can be dramatic and likes the spotlight. This person needs their freedom, and likes change and travel. They may change jobs often because the current job ceases to interest them. When they are working, they are hardworking and industrious. They like the country-outdoor look, and can be trustworthy and reliable. They can have a magnetic personality, however can be seen as vacillating. They are good at sales or promoting. They are very independent and want things done their way. On the shadow side (possibly with use of drugs or alcohol), this person can be very indecisive, fall into depression and worry excessively about what others think. They can be aggressive and pushy. They can be restless and have a hot temper, and they need to guard against drugs and alcohol. There is indication of being ruthless and obstinate.

Again, this is IMO -not fact.

Just thought people might find it interesting.

I want to back up to the stop at S's grandmothers. Notice BD said she was told, "THEY didn't come to the door". I think it would be odd to stop to see your grandmother at that hour, but the other part of the THEY might be someone he actually wanted to see.

This is the house that I know iof, the one where SA would sit on the front porch and watch the searchers. I also agree it's odd...and Billie said "they didn't come to the door"...well I wouldn't either that early!

BBM and jumping off your post Re SA's early morning visit to grandma's house on Mon 12/27:

From BD’s oral account at her press conference she said: "but they didn’t answer the door"

In BD’s 1/31/2011 provided timeline she stated: "but because no one was home"

So which was it? The first implies to me that SA didn’t know if they were home, but he knew that no one answered the door. The second implies to me that SA verified that no one was home [eg. their cars were gone; he let himself in, looked around, called out names, and no one was in the house; etc].

In a press conference slated to clear up things this discrepancy, admittedly minor, shouldn’t be in there!!!

I missed this when did Billie say this? Thanks.

Then he went to his grandmother’s house in Dunn, but they didn’t answer the door, so he came down to I-20. He didn’t come into C. City, just to I-20, and went to Big Spring.

This is from the press conference.

Anyone else feel like we are being asked to play the *WHICH IS IT* game?

BD and SA verses LE and just about everyone else..Who's telling the truth? Which Is It?

I'm tired of playing, there is a precious child that DID NOT just vanish...SA knows exactly what happened to Hailey imo..and because I like WS..I'm just gonna say that I don't know what Billie's problem is...

REALLY GOOD POINT!

BD says "they" when referring to Grandma's house. So, can we conclude that someone else (at least one other person) lives there with Grandma - or possibly stays with her to help. THEY, huh, wonder who else stays there? And were THEY both gone at such a very early hour?

Any one have the link handy to SA's Mom and Uncle saying SA was at his mom's Tuesday? Or does anyone know where that came from?

On the came down to I-20 part....I remember specifically NG talking to BD about traveling on I-20 and her saying that you wouldn't use that route.....does that ring any bells for anyone? Anyone know what night that was for NG? I don't think we had gotten to the "pulling teeth comments" by NG yet if that helps.

Mapquest: when figuring the timeline of a trip are they using the actual speed limits on the road you have requested?
I would think at those early hours of the Monday morning you could probably do 80 or 85 on those empty roads without an issue.
I would love to know if those roads were being patrolled at that hour of that Monday morning. and if speed traps are ever put along 208 and i20.

If he left the house in cc at 5:30, he made it to work in plenty of time to clock in at 6 and he knew he could make that trip in that time so I venture to say he speeds.

I recall SA and Billie saying it was worrisome that Hailey took nothing with her....scary, even. But, Billie told NG that it was normal for Hailey to go spend the night with friends with "only the clothes on her back"...so, which is it?? Normal or scary? :waitasec:

Well if you listen to the video of Shawn giving the interview, to a reporter, he says that, the police told them, that Hailey didn't take any thing with her, and that raised a red flag to them.

It was Christmastime. Perhaps Grandma had some out of town visitors?

I recall his mom/uncle saying he was there on Monday, and I recall cz saying he told Billie he was there on Tuesday. But I don't recall the mom/uncle commenting about SA's whereabouts on Tuesday anywhere. I'll search for a moment and see what I can find...
