Hey y'all. Boy our gal may never get justice, so sad. Still think of her often.

Listen, does anyone who was around back in the very beginning remember the name Pedro 'Pete' Orona by chance? Lived on Locust. He had died Jan, 11, 2011, like two weeks after Hailey went missing...I always had that name stored away...
I can't figure how to search threads anymore...anyone willing to poke around and see if his name comes up? TIA
No justice because they messed up the investigation in the beginning. They either missed critical information or they chose to ignore it.

I acquaint this case with Madeline Soto. I think there are a lot of similarities between the two.
I disagree. I would love to be put in my place for sure. We have not got there yet.

Agree, It angers me beyond belief. Hailey deserves Justice and the killer needs to be held accountable.

Agree with the posts above. Shocking case and one that still haunts me.

For me, it's also one of those cases where a combination of collateral chaos round the crime in terms of family and SA, their interrelationships and their various dependencies, plus limited (and at times seemingly reluctant) investigative capacity, helped to shield the obvious suspect.

IMO, he did it, folks know he did it, and he may never be called to account.

Yes, I just watched a documentary on Kaylee last week. I think it was on ID channel or Netflix I can't remember. Just seeing the actual police talks and interviews with the POI and bio Mom made me so angry.

Definitely red flags waving all over the place from the first moment IMO. I hope beyond hope he will be held accountable some day. Haylee deserves justice and a murderer needs to be behind bars.

IMO

I’ve lost hope of that ever happening. Poor Hailey, she had no one to protect her.
