HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- Deputies are continuing their investigation into a double murder after they say a husband and a wife were found dead in a west Harris County home on Monday. According to the medical examiner's office, one of the victims was shot in the face, and the other was shot twice in the head.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said that just before 6 a.m. on Monday morning, they went to a home on Bent Springs Lane near Clay Road and the Grand Parkway for a shooting.
Originally, the sheriff's office said they didn't know if this was a murder-suicide or a double homicide, but in an update, confirmed that investigators believe the couple was murdered.
The victims have been identified as a couple, Christopher and Trinette Lopez.
