Wow, it feels so unreal that after all this time we finally know her name! And she was so young as well it’s so senseless and tragic. RIP Sherri Ann Jarvis ❤️

I looked this up on the map before, there's a road which starts in Minnesota and ends in San Antonio I believe. I had a feeling that's where she'd be from.
Rest in peace beautiful Sherri
Interstate 35, begins in the Twin Cities and splits off in Dallas/Fort Worth.

Looks like this was the most accurate likeness of Sherri (based on the photo)

That was so emotional, I'm still crying. Rest well sweet girl. We are all so honoured to know your beautiful smile.
Thankyou @othram and everyone who worked so hard to bring Sherri home. You guys are awesome (and so good at keeping secrets!).

We knew she was a young child, but looking at her picture in life really shows how young she was :(

I am still trying to fight back tears. It is surreal to see know her name and see a photo - she had such a beautiful smile.

The work done by @othram, @CarlK90245 and every single person involved in her case is phenomenal. Thank you all for helping to bring sweet Sherri home.

That picture will be how I think of her now.

Yes!

This is the best part of learning the identity of a doe and seeing a photo of them in life. You no longer have to think of them as a doe, you can think of them as the person that they actually were.

RIP Sherri and love to your family

Y’all this feels so unreal! I’m so happy that she finally has her name back and that her family now has closer and can finally feel the relief of not having to wonder about what happened to her!

Now Sherri Ann Jarvis can RIP!

RIP Sherri Ann!

I hope we can ID your sick, twisted killer ASAP! But for now, I’m glad you can rest. You were too young, and so pretty. I’m so glad I got to know your name and see your real face, not your autopsy photos, for a change.

So looking back at the family’s statement, it sounds like Sherri skipped school a lot (habitual truancy) and was removed from her home. The LKC from her was apparently a letter from shortly after.

Well I’m guessing it probably wasn’t taken near the time of her death, since she was removed from her parent(‘)(s)(‘) custody in around 1979/1980.
