Thank you Spingrain! The white line at the end of the brow?
Yes! No problem. You can slightly see it interfere with her eyelid.

If you click on the more information button it doesnt say anything about a scar. 😕I did a quick search. It looks like another young girl was dumped on I45 on Dec 10, 1980 - this was farther south, but north of Houston. There's not really a description of what happened other than "homicide".
While searching I also found a PM photo of WCJD that I have not seen before. There are numerous PM photos on this page, so please don't click if you aren't comfortable: http://www.harriscountytx.gov/ifs/UnidentifiedDecedentFliers.aspx#J1989
You will have to scroll down to the 11/1/80 entry to see the picture which is in color, contrary to the other 2 I have seen. It appears the information is from the Harris County ME office. Note, the document filed on the page says she was found 4.5 miles north of Huntsville. That correlates to the 1696 exit and not the culvert a mile from the hitching post. I really don't feel like the latter location and description should be given much weight any more.
Could scar be misinformation?Or something she got while missing or even premortem scar from the attack?I didn't even know for sure if they kept the sandals. I am delighted that they are DNA testing them. She needs justice!
I so wish they mentioned the scar. It was very nicely written, but, like all the other articles, didn't mention the scar. Frustrating.

A lot of people are viewing and sharing her story on Never Forget Me. I'm happy her story is getting so much attention. I believe she'll be identified soon.
She is also listed on the Walker County TX Sheriff's rule-out list for their 1980 Walker County Jane Doe (though not on WCJD's NamUs rule-out list).

This is off topic from Newhall Jane Doe, but can you provide a link to the Walker County Sherrif page for WCJD? If they are more updated than NamUs, I'd like to see more of her exclusions.
Regarding the trucker that discovered the body, I don't think his name should be posted while speculating that he committed the murder. I'm sure LE checked him out at the time, and apparently they didn't charge him.
Agree that calling him JR is best, but want to state the reason I suggest he be interviewed again is because a known serial killer called the truck stop killer who turtured and strangled his victims in his truck has the same last name and operated in houston in later years. When WCJD was found he was in his mid thirties and very well could have been in the area. It's a posssibility she could have been a very early victim of his and in hindsight a better interview could be done. He's in prison serving lige without parole so it's not hard to find him. He is suspected of 50+ murders and this was not know until wcjd case was 10 years cold.
I see your points everyone. Since he is not a suspect, we should refer to him as JR. No disrespect intended towards him.
JR is still alive & well living out his awesome days in an Illinois state pen.
I have no problem disn' him every time I see his name or crimes.
He doesn't deserve our respect but that's just me.

I would hate for his rep to be ruined because of said speculations.I agree. It's kind of disturbing to me frankly. Adding a "just speculation!" or "jmo" doesn't really do much if you're the person being speculated as a murderer of a teenage girl. I think about how many people don't call the police about suspicious things they see or just don't want to get involved. And here we have a man who, based on the only available information, did the right thing in reporting it to LE. And for that he gets speculated to be a murderer. Imagine doing a google search on yourself and this thread comes up? Just something to think about.
