Her dentals and DNA are in?

I don't know lol. I mean I know it means a high probability of identification but what does that mean in relation to someone who is 2 stars?

I so seriously think that this might be Cheryl Wyant. Found a very interesting article on Cherie and her biological sister corrects some of the facts of the story. Her sister, Susan Elizabeth Wyant-Reinholz, says that it was a minor accident and that after the accident Cherie went back to the group home, "Youths for Christ," outside of Portland, OR. She was supposed to return by plane but left with other teens. Susan gives an e-mail address and a phone number. Here is the link:

It sounds like all of the kids where in foster care. There was Susan and another sister, Linda, is mentioned. Since Cheryl left with a group, that might explain why there was a gap between when she disappeared and was murdered. She was most likely safer in a group than out hitchhiking. Perhaps she went looking for her parents. Perhaps her dad was in Huntsville. That would also explain the answer about her mother that was "Who cares?"

Also, Susan has a Facebook page and she has a daughter and granddaughter, and they all look like our little WCJD. They have the same slant on the tip of that upturned nose. Susan mentions to notify Lindsay Schultz of Clark County who is a detective on this case and also a close personal friend. Since they have mitochondrial DNA on little WCJD, they could use Susan as a match!

Wow! Great point!!! According to her sister, she was in the emergency room and left from there and went back to the group home. So much of the information in the databases is wrong according to her sister which would also have impeded people from putting them back together!

Cherie's sister has some public pictures on her Facebook account under the name Susan Elizabeth Wyant-Reinholz and her daughter, Ashley Handley (who is a FB friend of Susan's, has a public Facebook page. With Ashley being younger, you can really see a resemblance to Cherie and our little WCJD. They look like there may be some Native American in the family, and there is a large Native American population still in the Washington and Oregon area. They all have the same nose, large almond shaped eyes, dark hair. Ashley has some pictures with a cousin which would have been a child of another one of Cherie's siblings. It looks like whatever hardships Cherie and her siblings went through at one point in their life, they managed to stay maintain contact and relationships with each other and go on to have the their own happy families. So very sad that Cherie was deprived of this opportunity.

Yvette Watson, 17 brown hair, blue eyes
Missing March 1979
I know the distance is crazy, but I had to share.
Yvette looks so much like the postmortem and IMO incredibly similar to Carlk's reconstruction. I did an overlay with both the postmortem and carlk's recon. Amazing.
Jawline, nose, eyes, and even the placement of the mouth seem to match up.

Uh. Yeah.

5'6" with a slight build. She'd have been 18 but with that delicate face she looks younger. March or April of 1979 to November 1980 is plenty of time to come to the US and there's nothing in the circumstances to say she did or didn't.

She does look amazingly like the reconstruction. Circumstances could be consistent with Yvette running away to find a new life. For what its worth, lots of people here in Britain are fascinated by America. I could very well imagine a young girl like Yvette deciding to seek new adventures there.

It would also explain why this beautiful young lady has remained unidentified for all this time.

How do you "submit" someone for a match??

I contact the forensic anthropologist handling the case, whether it be by phone or email. I think there are a couple of others on this thread that are also one of Dr. Ds contacts. I communicate with her through email. Submit matches for others. If you ever have a PM for any case that harris county is working I will gladly send it in. Or if you would rather do it yourself there is a phone number listed on namus for all case managers for any UID. They are a bunch of sweetiepies in Harris County, love their dedicated team.:loveyou:

ETA: also I believe you can submit matches through doenetwork as well.

Ok, it would seem that Yvette's case has been linked to the UK serial killer, Peter Tobin. This guy was certainly guilty of many more murders than those he was convicted of.

Norfolk was apparently one of Tobin's favourite places to take a holiday. Several missing persons cases and unsolved murders involving vulnerable young women in the Norfolk area are being investigated for possible links to Tobin. Yvette's case included.

I read this too, which kind of steered me away. She looks too much like wcjd to discount her. Hopefully she will hear something back soon. She also mentioned she was awaiting another MP DNA specimen to compare to wcjd, dunno who.

ETA: But Det Insp Andy Guy of Norfolk police said detectives had ruled out any connection. He said that various missing persons cases in Norfolk had been reviewed in the light of the Tobin case but he said: “What I can say is that Yvette Watson is not considered to be connected to that.”

I think Yvette is a very good PM for both wcjb and 'Cali'.

The main reason that she is linked to Tobin is that she fits his victim profile and she went missing from a part of the country that they know Tobin visited at various times. I don't see anything to suggest that they have established any additional information to link Tobin to Yvette's disappearance.

Been trying to work my way threw this thread. Very interesting. Last night I had a horrible dream about this Jane Doe. Probably because it was the last thing read before bed. So off to sleep some more. Just hope I don't have the same weird dreams...the kind that give you the chills when you wake up.

I've also been going threw tons of missing persons trying to find a match as I read and all I could find was the same that have all ready been posted. Just seems that her identity has to be connected to someone that was at that prison. If those tips were correct.
