The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
Missing person left the house and failed to come home.
Please help find a photo and more information on Janet.

This is what I’ve been able to find so far... although I’m certain there’s more to this story and more information to be found

I tried searching yearbooks and other public databases for details surrounding Janet’s disappearance and came up with nothing. Notations made by some members on Ancestry suggest that she met with foul play and is no longer alive, but I wasn’t able to find evidence of those speculations. There seems to be an archived San Antonio Express-News article from 1975 that mentions Janet being missing, but I’m unable to locate it online and don’t have access to the UTSA Library. Maybe someone else can locate something with this additional information. At least we can put a face to the name now.
It’s no problem at all! I’m very happy to do it!Thank you so much for taking the time to find additional information and photos for the missing. I don't have an ancestry account so i can't find a lot of information.
There are no exclusions listed for Janet yet.Has she been ruled out?The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)

There are several things that don't make sense (Jane Doe had scoliosis, her right leg was shorter than her left leg and she may have had a limp, she had a porcelain crown on one of her teeth), but this is the only UID located in Bexar county that may fit her profile.
