I understand completely what you are saying LB and I agree with your thoughts on a grandparent raising a grandchild.

(My Parents helped to raise my oldest child FWIW)

My parents helped with my oldest child also. I had postpartum depression and no partner, and if not for them and the grace of God, I might have wound up as one of these statistics...

Sources: Woman to be charged in 12-year-old boy's disappearance

View attachment 12964

HOUSTON – A woman is expected to be charged Wednesday in connection with the disappearance of 12-year-old Justin Foster, police sources said.

The woman, who is not a relative of the boy, was taken into custody Wednesday morning.

Police sources said she was not being cooperative with the investigation, but detectives have collected a considerable amount of evidence linking her to the boy’s disappearance.

Investigators could be seen removing evidence from the suspect's home after she was taken into custody Wednesday.

I'm just going to stop posting until we have confirmation on more facts. I've gone from one end of the spectrum to another speculating and it doesn't do me any good.

Kimster, does this go for the SD also? Just wondering! Not to say SD's aren't family - not saying that at all - but this man was in his life for only a few weeks...

It's okay to discuss what has been reported. I'm just talking about digging into their past for their whole lives and exposing every seemingly unsavory thing that may have happened.

Think about it. If they are not involved, they are going through hell already. And we even have a family member on this site who doesn't need to watch us dissect her SIL if she wasn't involved. Hope that makes sense. :grouphug:

Makes a lot of sense - thanks... :)

So was this woman an accessory or an actual participant? I have doubts the media will give us an accurate answer anytime soon. Do we know what time the presser is?

Bumping this post for those who may not have seen it-the person arrested is apparently not a relative of little man. :(

can we be sleuthing someone that has not been named as connected to the case?

all we've heard so far is that Channel 2 is supposed to release the arrested woman's name at 4pm CT...haven't heard about a presser. (this was on prev. thread).

link to live stream for Ch.2 is in OP for this thread...HTH

I just don't know.......I'm thinking she may be an accessory.

Watching the video, it struck me as an odd way to "handle' a suspect. They didn't seem to be worried about her taking off or being a danger.

I thought the same! It looked more like she was being taken in for questioning.

Someone had said something earlier on this thread about a large hispanic man being taken into custody, but that "man" is actually a woman, and now it's being linked to a blurb about the arrest of a woman related to this case. The evidence looks like maybe it was a broom or some other household tool (shovel? Rake?) with the end covered by a brown paper bag to withhold bits of evidence. I can't tell what the other stack of stuff was.

The woman is somoene who was just booked for something to do with health code violations and combustible material violations. She seems to fit with the woman who was arrested for being connected to Jonathans death.
From the time i first looked at her arrest, her charges she had pending went from 12 down to 6 about 30 minutes ago.

Sorry. I was under the impression that we could sleuth P.O. because she had been arrested AND because during the reporting of that arrest, reporters stated that evidence had been removed from her home connected to Jonathan. If that isn't correct, I apologize.

I know it's that fortbend again but...........

It was also revealed there had been recent domestic problems between Angela and David Davis.

This makes me nervous. Sad. And suspicious...from your article...

"Police also said they had recovered some “significant evidence” from a surveillance camera at the Rolled Alloys facility next to where the body was found. They would not disclose the nature of that evidence, but the stepfather’s car was searched and impounded by police shortly after detectives completed their review of the video."[/

To quote the show CSI

Well you know what they say....a good friend will help you move furniture....a very good friend will help you move a body.
