Found Deceased TX - Joseph Garcia, 42, Baylor County, 2 July 2015

  • #121
I don't think so. I have some important questions for police that could help narrow the search but no one wants to help me help them only the police that found his vehicle can help and their not doing that. I don't understand why.

Why cant u gather some friends and arrange a search for Joseph esp if u have info that would narrow the search!

Your the last person to see him so IMO they will find U when they want U.
Im sure they took your info and are checking things out.

I have proof cause I made it back to Seymour from the airport after he dropped me off. If you questions come to source before making assumptions. I told the police everything I knew at that time.

But there is no proof Joseph was the person that dropped u off.
We know u made it back.
Sorry John! Just questions I have.

But we do know that police believe Joe was home AFTER his friend had flown out of Dallas-Fort Worth. So whatever happened to him occurred after the trip to the airport.

I missed that?
How would they know did someone else see him?

I saw the post that said he was home but she didn't say if it was before the airport or after.

The Seymour police did go to his house and said he had been there! Don't know if they confirmed that with neighbors or what but they said he was there!

So they confirmed with 100% certainty that he had been home AFTER the airport drop? I find that even more concerning that he would leave the vehicle running, with cell phone and wallet in the vehicle and then go home and call...no one? No one to get the vehicle, no one to take him to a hospital (if he was injured), not a call to his WIFE? If he went to a hospital they would certainly get info on who to call IF he was coherent enough to give a name or number. And we sit this many weeks later with no call from anyone?

LE has his cell - they should be contacting the last people who called in or he dialed out to.

Even if he was injured, I find it almost incomprehensible that a hospital wouldn't have made contact with SOMEONE, be it LE to state they have a "John Doe" who could be matched up to a missing person's case - OR - next of kin to at least let someone know he was there. Now, I know that there are privacy laws preventing them from just randomly calling people (especially if the patient does NOT want to be found) - but I would venture a bet that at least LE would be notified.

LE then contacts the family and simply states "He has been located and is safe" - they don't tell you more than that, just to let them know he has been located.

Something is VERY off here...

That post
does not say he was there before or after the airport just that he was there.
And yes something is very off here.

The quote was responding to a question asking if anyone saw him at home after his trip to the airport.

Oh Ok!

All I see in MSM is he was last seen Dropping friend off at airport.
Did they say who saw him?

Yes his wife! But our question is also ,did he make it to the airport? But we are assuming the troopers have talked to the friend and have confirmation he took this guy to the airport... I'm thinking it wasn't Joe that drove the car to where it was found.... His phone is showing he went to Lubbock then to smeyer and then left on the side of the road! Could someone have stolen his car? We just don't know!

Just bringing this forward for clarification from janetlaurie. So, phone records show Joe left DFW, drove to Lubbock, drove back the Seymour, and finally down to Abilene?

You know I'm not sure on that but his brother said that but now I'm not sure if he went right back to Seymour or what. Hopefully we will get more info today!

That is what we are understanding! We are all so confused by this...

We know he was home before the airport! They would have left for the airport from seymour. John said Joe said he was going back to Seymour cause he had things to do..the police went to joes house in Seymour and checked it out, said he had been there ...bed was slept in toothbrush was out. Don't know if they verified that with neighbors or what!

I sent the info to his sister in law on equasearch and asked her to request a search..the family is in Texas today!

Eileen, most of this other information is coming from John, the guy Joseph dropped off at the airport. Also coming from his cousin janetlaurie and I think his wife?? SharonH. We have asked them to get verified as insiders so we know their info is accurate, but have not heard anything on that yet. MSM is scant with info!

I hope this turns out like the Michael Goetze case.
If I'm understanding this correctly he went missing 21 days ago and this thread just started on the 17th ?

IMO
They wouldnt know if he was there or not By a bed unmade or a toothbrush out that could have been from when he first left or if he had really gone missing earlier than whats being reported. Unless he was SEEN by someone.

See message number 43 in this thread. I understood that message to say that the Seymour Police told John that they pulled Joe's phone records and they indicated that he did make it back to Seymour.
