My understanding Jenny is that his fear was in relation to the exposure he would receive by testifying and I think that's reasonable.Well, exactly. When the trial was over, why didn't he leave Dallas? Obviously if he was scared, he could have left. Considering the way he made his living, it's not like he didn't have the means to buy a plane ticket.
Special arrangements were made for him and his testimony was facilitated by his swearing in in the Judge's chambers.
Up to the time of his appearance the November people had no idea of his geographical location.
I'm still thinking there's a connection but not a solitary fact has emerged to back my speculation.
