TX - Joshua Brown, 27, (witness in Amber Guyger trial), shot and killed, Dallas, 4 Oct 2019 #2

  • #41
Well, exactly. When the trial was over, why didn't he leave Dallas? Obviously if he was scared, he could have left. Considering the way he made his living, it's not like he didn't have the means to buy a plane ticket.
My understanding Jenny is that his fear was in relation to the exposure he would receive by testifying and I think that's reasonable.
Special arrangements were made for him and his testimony was facilitated by his swearing in in the Judge's chambers.
Up to the time of his appearance the November people had no idea of his geographical location.
I'm still thinking there's a connection but not a solitary fact has emerged to back my speculation.

See, i can understand he may have been laying low... EXCEPT for the fact that he was posting on SM WHERE he was... and what he was doing. He would have been EASY to find if someone put effort into it. And if Diggs was a common denominator, friends of friends knew where JB was, lived and was going. Granted, easy to follow him from the courthouse if they didn't know where he was now living back in Dallas. Remember, we aren't talking about rocket scientists here. They don't work any harder than they have to, to make the quick buck or so web searches to actually FIND the person. They rely on 'i saw so and so here... he's hanging here, come on over'

Yeah, I watched it closely and he seemed to be using exotic expensive leaves to roll it, the leaves aren't drugs but used occasionally for rolling fine tobacco.. I did not notice the liquid.. But I do know that liquid THC can be used in a cigarette by daubing the outside of the cigarete with it.. And he had cartridges of thc, possibly that. Also known as hash oil, pretty expensive... It comes in tiny vials, people used to use a match stick to 'daub' the joint or cigarette.
It's very strong, dark in colour though.
I tried it once,in the early 70's and was stuck on the steps of a monument for about 6 hrs.. unable to move as the cobbestones had transformed themselves into fish and the journey was considered too dangerous and slippy. Lesson Learned.

Wait ... I'm confused. Are you saying that THC cartridges are pretty expensive? That is not true.
Now a days people can buy a cartridge and put it on a vape pen. A cartridge will last me at least a week or two (at $50 a pop). The amount of flower bud I would get for $50 wouldn't last me a week. I'd go so far as to say cartridges are cheaper when taking length of use into account.

I was referring to the cost of a vial containing 1 gram of THC (and gawd knows what else) in the early 70's, pre vaping era...

Doesn't IAB investigate LE only? How is IAB going to investigate the prosecution?
I didn't say the prosecution was being investigated.
There is no need to investigate them . They did a brilliant job.

THC may worsen seizures, as it actually lowers seizure threshold. Consequently, so can marijuana. It is only pure CBD that is used for treatment of seizures. Because of the widespread misconception that marijuana treats infantile seizures, I find it important to emphasize, not marijuana, CBD.
I hate nitpicking but that's not accurate. Here is a link to Vera Twomey's facebook page, it's open. Vera is an Irish activist who has recently written a book. Her child was born with Dravet's syndrome, that's multiple fitting..THC is the drug of choice and CBD is also used.
Eva is now attending school, she has improved tremendously. It's a heartening story.
Here's the link to her public page Vera Twomey

Ohhhhh, well back then definitely yes. Sorry for the confusion, friend.

The article linked below describes Joshua Brown's long criminal history which included drug dealing. Lee Merritt is featured in the article's video. He now admits there is enough evidence supporting the police version of Brown's death. BUT in typical Merritt flimflam fashion, he says that while the evidence is true, it will always be undermined by the DPD lack of credibility. LoL.. talk about deflection. Merritt's lack of credibility is what's in question here. He's just a showboating lawyer looking for his cut.

Joshua Brown had long criminal history including drug dealing, documents show

Rapides Parish men suspected of killing of witness at Amber Guyger's trial

Oct 8, 2019

Dallas police say three Rapides Parish men are suspected in the killing of a man who testified at the trial of a Dallas police officer who killed her upstairs neighbor.

Assistant chief Avery Moore identified the suspects as Thaddeous Charles Green, 22, Jacquerious Mitchell, 20, and Michael Diaz Mitchell, 32. Jacquerious Mitchell is in custody at Parkland hospital, Moore said.

Mitchell will be charged with capital murder.

Moore said they are from the Alexandria, Louisiana area (although court records say they are from Cheneyville) and that investigators believe they were in Dallas to buy drugs from Joshua Brown, 28.

[...]

News Channel 5 ran the names through the Rapides Parish Clerk of Court's system. Thaddeous Charles Green is currently awaiting trial for burglary of a dwelling in a 2016 case. Green actually has a pretrial set in Rapides Parish for Wednesday on that case. The only other prior listed for him is from 2015 for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. That case was dismissed.

Michael Diaz Mitchell has one prior listed in the clerk's office for simple battery. That case was dismissed in 2015. There is nothing listed in the clerk's system for Jacquerious Mitchell.
Ok have to tread lightly here...if they are from Cheneyville then there’s is a good possibility that TG is close relation to another TG with a record who now lives in San Antonio,TX

Who shall we believe?

Men said they are from Alexandria, LA.

Court records indicate Cheneyville, LA.

And Dallas Police say the 3 are from Rapides Parish.

As TC Green had a court hearing Weds (Chenyville) that he most likely missed, he probably still resides in Cheneyville.

Wouldn't be surprised if one or more of trio have relatives in TX.

(Noting Dallas is almost 300 miles from San Antonio-- with a head start, that might be a good place to hide out)...

And considering jb had many more run in with the law than stated outside of Dallas, who knows where all these 3 had issues

Those value cartridges have varying amounts of thc. None pure that I've heard of. Last one I saw was looked at was like 32 percent... And that was strong..... That was sold legally in a dispensary in Oregon

WOW! That IS very strong indeed.
Was it in a carrier oil or straight did you notice Kakidoll?
Asking because of the recent spate of deaths associated with vaping, not fully up to speed but think read was due to carrier oil burning lung tissue?
It's completely off topic, I know and sorry for that, everyone but interesting nontheless

I was looking at maps last night and trying to figure the distance... that's just a few hours each way ?

I'm a bit shocked to just read this. I'm somewhat new to this thread.
BUT did a policeman really delete text messages with Amber that night?
Ex-officer Amber Guyger was just convicted of murder. Here's why some activists want her partner fired
I think he should be fired for this bit, at least.
Imagine, his girlfriend sitting there, charged with murder and this is all he thinks of her!!!
Rivera testified he deleted the texts between him and Guyger from the night of the shooting,

"That's not something that I would want to be reminded of," Rivera said. "And I don't keep messages saved unless it's of an importance to me."

God cringe and shrink...
Does anybody know whether sexual relationships between police partners are frowned upon or considered perfectly normal within the police force ?

Deleting the texts is understandable.
His failure to recall the long telephone call is not.
I think that call would have incriminated Guyger because I have a notion he called to cancel a date and left her in a state...
Speculating only.
