So he testified under oath that he made his living managing Airbnbs, and is anybody here going to argue that that's how he actually made his living?
He wasn't on trial.
It's quite likely he also managed some AirBnB's using subcontractors for emergency repairs etc... well, that's me speculating as I have no idea what size these units were, whether v large or small single units..
He didn't mention he was selling weed as well, but he did state he had a previous conviction.. See @Seattle1 post re this.

I was responding to @kittythehare, who wrote"His record was disclosed.
There is no evidence to suggest he had anything to gain by lying or that any of his testimony was untruthful.
Did the court and DA know he was an active dealer?
He did meet Judge Kemp in chambers prior to testifying.
It is possible they knew.
And obviously the defense were also informed.
They did not object to anything he said."

IMO, discussion in chambers was about protecting his identity. JB was in an altercation outside a club Nov 2018, where he was shot by an unnamed suspect, and another individual was killed.

I believe the bullet was intended for JB - and he escaped with only a gunshot would to his foot. He was said to be in fear that the unnamed suspect would like to finish him off -- and I think that was a valid fear.

I noticed JB was not sworn in on camera, nor did he disclose his address. JB only spelled his name, and gave his testimony on camera.

Again, JB under no obligation to incriminate himself! That's crazy …

5th Amendment protects us all.

What was the significance of JB's testimony as opposed to anyone else's?

His proximity to JR's apartment being across the hall, and that he did not hear AG command in a loud voice for BR to show his hands. Otherwise, IMO, it was duplicative to other witnesses.

So Joshua Brown was a witness to another murder?

It is.
I'm still utterly fascinated by the November case, can find no details of the second shooter..
(of course I'm still not convinced the Louisiana people had no connection with the people who wanted JB out of the scene. Possible, but wild speculation on my part, I'll keep rooting)

I'm pretty sure that
Felons ARE allowed to be witnesses in trials.
I remember that guy in the Holly
Bobo case for one.

AirBnB's in different states? Is that at all likely?

I didn't say he was. But the prosecution has to operate within rules. So does the defense.

The last gun shot is no big mystery. He and his buddy left a strip club at closing time. He got into a physical altercation with someone who eventually shot him. He is not unknown. He's awaiting trial.

There's no evidence he was not managing Airbnb's, while supplementing his income illegally. It's insane anyone would expect him to testify about the later!!

Is there any evidence he was managing Airbnb's?

Actually it is a mystery. There were reportedly two people involved in the shooting. Only one has been charged. Where is the other one?

Apparently it is. Another poster mentioned her associate travels to manage them.
If his portfolio was perhaps blocks of apartments dedicated to AirBnB it would have been quite lucrative, I imagine. And their location not necessarily absurd, depending upon what kind of ancillary staff were available for repairs like plumbing, for example.
We don't have any details of those contracts yet. It's quite possible he did both weed dealing and property management.

moo, when the hubbub dies down, AG's defense attorney will file an appeal based upon Brown.

OH BOY! This is exactly what I'm thinking. I mean I guess they can file an appeal on anything, but will it stick? Hopefully AG will chose not to appeal.

Cannot find him, Jenny but nor can I access the court files from here.. I want to look at them to see whether the second shooter is mentioned anywhere.

Sorry mate -- you got that wrong.

Three men (K Morris, N Diggs, and unnamed suspect) were celebrating a birthday at several clubs 11/23/18. They later encountered JB at Gentlemen's Club where unnamed suspect and JB were in a street fight.

Witnesses state K Morris handed the unnamed suspect a gun, and this suspect shot N Diggs dead, and wounded JB. K Morris -- the accomplice suspect was arrested, and indicted for murder.

The unnamed alleged shooter is still at large. Nobody has given him up -- dudes got some powerful street cred.

Doesn't take much to see that the bullet was likely meant for JB -- and not N Diggs, friend that shooter and K Morris were celebrating with.

Accomplice K Morris is going to trial for murder -- while unnamed suspect shooter is probably drinking margaritas in Mexico....

MOO

One huge problem is that he didn't plead the 5th. If he didn't really make a living with the ABBs, or however he phrased it on the stand, then he perjured himself.
