True, but wouldnt that have left some blood evidence for the dogs to track?
I think it is so odd that the dogs didnt pick up a scent.
While traumatic injuries are usually associated with blood loss, it is not necessarily EXTERNAL bleeding. Plenty of people die from internal bleeding - esp. if some internal organ is ruptured. There are plenty of spaces in the human body that can accumulate massive amounts of blood yet have no communication to the outside.
