It is an African mask. I wonder if the people are actually African? There is a fairly large African population in the Houston area.

I'm from southern Louisiana, I don't think the mask has anything to do with Mardi Gras. It's not like anything I've seen before.

What I was saying is that they (the media) first reported that witnesses reported "African American" individuals to be the abductors when in fact a "Caucasian" female was taken into custody...........................
