I mentioned this before. The only thing that struck me about it was that there isn't any mention of any other kids other than Kaytlynn tying the dog up but Kaytlynn's mother was told by one kid that other kids were asked by kaytlynn to keep an eye on the dog. I can't find anyone else saying that other kids were there other than third-hand. LE has said they had "conflicting" information from kids they apparently spoke with. But there are a number of ways the information could be "conflicting" so it isn't clear what the situation was - and LE has made no effort to clear that up either. Also didn't one of the friends say she tied the dog to the fence she would be right back. But I find it odd he had taken such notice of her. Jmo
I also mentioned before that I was bothered by the fact that at no time prior to Kaytlynn being found in the landfill that anyone (even third-hand) mentioned which direction Kaytlynn went. This goes for the police as well with their release on the day following Kaytlynn's disappearance. No indication of which direction she went after tying up the dog. She didn't simply vanish while standing in place. And I think it would have been useful in generating tips and leads if it were known she ... "headed toward building 123" or "toward the swimming pool" or "toward XYZ Avenue" - anything other than it appearing as if she had asked other kids to watch the dog, tied it up, and *poof* into thin air. I am strongly bothered by this. I can't imagine someone didn't offer which way she went. Even when we get to the press conference and LE went through the time line we get no hint of which direction she went. So when we apparently have the situation where there are multiple witnesses to the dog being tied up and the dog being found tied up that squares that specificity nicely but no sense of which direction she went away from the dog park I am bothered (strongly).
