Knocked on the door, circling
Also:

How did she know he wasn't at the apt.? Where did she think he was? Where did she think the kids were? How did she get in the apt. when she finally went there?
around at the airport, with him, I believe someone at the complex let her in.

So LE is watching him right? The whole the about contacting him for the sketches was a statement for us the public or a subliminal message to DV?

I hate to ask, but if we get a new thread tonight and there's any breaking news in it, would someone please tag me in a post? It's after midnight here and I'm already staying up too late because I'm afraid to miss something. :)

Gosh my partner who is step daddy although not legally but has in been our lives now since my son was 15 and he is now 23 almost 24 shows more concern and love. As well my son has put us through some hefty stuff over the last few years.
But this is also why I waited. His dad passed when he was 5 and we were young. I had my son at 17. His father passed away over drugs. I didn’t trust myself that I would find anyone suitable for HIM.
That’s all I will say. I’ve had mixed feelings on all WS “victims” on this thread but now I sit on my hands. Just hoping against hope that someone just saved this darling but I’m lying to myself.
Oh and I don’t believe all stepfathers legal or not are all monsters. We just have to do better by our own babies.[/QUOTE]

Agree!! We (Moms) have ALL the responsibility, power and control over who we allow to be around our kids. Married, single or otherwise!

Good question. More red flags here:

  • BB did not have her house keys and spent the night with BB2 [11]
Saturday, May 4, 2019
  • BB told ABC13 they called police Sat a.m. to file a report because they were concerned they had not heard from DV, but detective clearly stated no report was filed [2].
  • BB2 explained that on Sat, they went to the PD again when nobody was contacting them and found out they had to fill out more forms, call the missing person’s unit, etc. [11]
So, your kids are missing and your fiancee is missing and you just calmly spend the night at mom's house? And then she claims she filed a police report on Saturday, but the PD says that didn't happen. Oh, well, we went back, you know, because no one contacted us and we found out, oh, there was all this paperwork and stuff we needed to fill out. And other people to contact.

What? Where the hell is the call to 911? "I can't find my fiance and he has our kids, who are missing. I'm worried."
Also, grandmother stated in her interview that missing persons is closed on the weekends. what?

Someone posted a screenshot from KHOU11 saying DV picked up his son from daycare on Friday but Maleah wasn’t with him.

Clothes and papers were seen in the car, per detective at presser.
Can say the same about my vehicle. Nothing out of the ordinary with that-- paper and clothes.

Both.
She had emergency surgery in August to remove the piece of skull. Then surgery in March to put it back.
Thanks for clearing that up!

LOL - I'd be embarrassed for police to look at my car right now. My kids are messy af.

I don't know what to think, but it makes me unhappy when people generalize that step-fathers are always bad, abusive people. I was blessed to have had an excellent stepfather, who I probably didn't appreciate as much as I should have when I was a child or teen.

Just a "shout out" that all stepdads are not bad.

I'd like to know when he was sent home vomiting.

BB left on Tuesday (unsure of time). So, DV would have had to have been home with Maleah on Wed & Thursday (possibly Tuesday) since she was sick and hasn't been to daycare since April.

The way this is written makes me think he was sent home on Thursday since he was "officially" home with the flu on Friday.

Or was there someone else that was supposed to have been watching Maleah during the time he was at work? And if so, why haven't we heard from that person?

ETA: MSM says he went to daycare Friday to pick up the youngest and Maleah was not with him. Sooooo, where was she?
Where is Maleah Davis? Timeline in the disappearance of 4-year-old Houston girl

I think (someone correct me if not) BB & Maleah were at her Mom's house doing laundry on Monday. So if she kept her home Monday & Tuesday, maybe to spend time with her before leaving, that makes sense.

Keep in mind, we don't know if she was full or part time in preschool.

she thought he was circling the airport in bad weather, at night for quite a while.
Maintenance let them in the apartment the next day.

What was Mom's reason for going to Massachusetts in May when her dad died April 11th?

I can’t find record he’s actually a step father.
Of course all step fathers are not bad but some are.
In this situation it sure seems like things weren’t on the up & up, at least to me.
We see too many cases where step children are not as fortunate as you, and it seems such cases are becoming more frequent.
