But maybe the time of her flight does not take the heat off her, but instead points to the fact that she was home with Maleah, possibly alone when DV was out.

Am I missing something that would suggest otherwise?
At the moment we don't know what time BB's flight was nor do we know when she left for the airport. I found it odd that neither she nor her spokesperon Q has addressed that issue. It seems to me that if she clearly was already at the airport at that time then she (or Q) would make it clear in order to show she is not involved.

The other thing we don't yet know is who dropped DV off at the hospital. Early msm said he called a family member to report Maleah missing but it was not reported who that family member was.

Also, BB stated to msm on May 7 that DV was staying with his brother. I think it's the same brother who recently spoke to msm after visiting DV in jail. He too had an opportunity to say who dropped DV at the hospital but when a reporter asked about it he said "No comments on none of that."

So IMO that was another opportunity for the brother to state where BB was during all of this if he wanted to throw her under the bus and take the heat off DV; when she left for the airport and if she was the one who dropped DV off at the hospital. It makes me wonder if the brother dropped him off. And if not then who?

It's so odd to me that no one has spoken up to fill in the blanks which could clarify just who all was where during the time Maleah disappeared. The only thing I can think of is that it may implicate some of them in a way they do not want to admit. MOO.

A tow truck took away Derion Vence’s car today. It was parked at Maleah’s home and was vandalized after Maleah’s disappearance, according to Quanell X. #MaleahDavis

Wow. This is the first time I read he also had a car. To me, this raises more questions. Also, IMO, I do not believe anything Mr. Q says.

If he was talking they would have found her.

My instinct is mother was complicit. Abandoned her baby to a violent, perverted abuser. Knew he was abusing her. Knew he had brought her home. Left as she was being "disciplined" or shortly after. Possibly left her dying.

At this point I don't think there's evidence she directly participated in the event that triggered Maleah's death. If there was, he would be talking. He surely knows she's growing him under the bus.

And if he was talking, we would know where Maleah is.
There is zero evidence that he abused the child....only X spinning this tale. And I'm no closer to believing him than I was the day he said it. Waiting on some evidence.

I agree. Glad I’m not the only one.
You're not the only one. I think IF they were in on it together they would have the same story and present a united front. At least in the beginning...then they'd turn on each other.

Timeline - Update #8

July 10, 2018 BB took Maleah to the ER because she was throwing up blood. Doctors reported Maleah was "extremely lethargic." Maleah was treated and released. [35]

July 28, 2018 BB contacted BB2, who was in LA, and stated that Maleah had fallen from a tall chair to a marble table. BB2 advised BB to take Maleah to the hospital. At the hospital, Maleah was observed with a laceration to the forehead. BB denied vomiting or abnormal behavior from Maleah. She also denied seizures or lethargy in the medical record. Maleah's forehead laceration was repaired. No imaging studies were reported as completed. The surgical pathology report revealed a chronic subdural hematoma displaying a prominent fibroblastic proliferation with collagen deposition, numerous small vessels, many hemosiderin-laden macrophages, and acute hemorrhage. [35]

August 1, 2018 BB2 was at work and Maleah was in the care of BB and DV, who lived in the home. BB texted BB2 that something was wrong with Maleah and that her eyes were rolling back. BB2 told BB to take Maleah to the hospital. BB2 did acknowledge that BB had to be told to take Maleah to the hospital. BB took Maleah to the hospital and she was transported to a different hospital where she had a craniectomy to relieve pressure. [35]

Medical professionals stated that the story BB and BB2 told about Maleah falling from a chair would not have caused the serious internal injuries which required half of Maleah's skull to be removed. Doctors ordered that she wear a helmet for 12-24 months while she healed. [35]

August 3, 2018 The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) received a report alleging physical abuse and neglectful supervision. [35]

August 10, 2018 It was determined that the findings of two separate injuries (frontal laceration and a second fracture to the left posterior temporal bone) indicate more than one impact to Maleah's head. [35]

August 14, 2018 The DFPS obtained TMC (temporary managing conservatorship) of all children due to concern about the safety and care of the three children in the home. [35]

Per QX, BB told DV she was returning her ring and was not going to marry him. QX also stated that DV would pick up Maleah from the daycare and take her back to the apt and there is reason to believe that DV possibly molested Maleah. QX said DV sent BB disturbing messages while she was in MA. [100]

He is waiting for his deal, and to make sure he won't go down for the whole thing. I originally believed your premise, but, I think something happened, and BB just left already knowing there was a mess. Which is why she never reported Maleah missing.

That is the key element here.

Apologies for posting that big 'ol long thing again so soon, but we should be moving to a new thread soon and I wanted to get the May 12 QX interview, the April 30 surveillance video of DV walking to his car, the Crimestoppers reward, etc. on there.

I'm so glad it's out now that she was home for 90min with DV and Maleah.

Unfortunately I think that is when Maleah died. Don't know who caused the death, but BB & DV both know what happened. And DV cleaned it up.

I don't know why it feels so premeditated to me. Ugh

Wow. This is the first time I read he also had a car. To me, this raises more questions. Also, IMO, I do not believe anything Mr. Q says.
I also wondered about this. I thought it was interesting he had her new car but if he wanted to put evidence in her car to avoid having it in his it makes sense. If not for those videos he might have a stronger case for himself. But not with the kidnapper story. MOO

  • #1,032
This is a different car from the one he said was stolen, right?
Yes. I think this was the one that he was seen on camera walking to in the parking lot of the apartment complex. I could be mistaken - will have to take a second look at that. MOO

And maybe they were not fighting at all. Maybe she got really mad when he returned with the child because she had other things on her mind. The child being there messed up her booty call. Maybe after he left for work, she lost her temper and hit the child....just may be. Pure speculation.

It seems like DV would have said that by now if he could, doesn’t it? He’s going down for tampering with a corpse no matter what, it seems like he would say where the body was and that someone else did it, if he could make a deal.

But it seems like it has been forever, yet this case is moving fast. I’m having a hard time keeping track of how long it has really been.

Edited bc I messed up and accidentally posted something I didn’t mean to, just a thought I didn’t finish! Oops, sorry

It was the first thought that popped into my head as well. I agree!

I also wondered about this. I thought it was interesting he had her new car but if he wanted to put evidence in her car to avoid having it in his it makes sense. If not for those videos he might have a stronger case for himself. But not with the kidnapper story. MOO

Or maybe his car wasn’t working, so he used hers.

There was a video on IG with JG and BB talking after the court hearing Monday. They both said DVs Impala didn't run.

She was not happy with his comment! LOL

So far, I can confirm that Tim Miller did say "smidget" of gas in the bottom of the gas can.

It's at 33:44 in the podcast (see link below)

"...when he left that apartment he had the blue clothes basket and the trash bag inside of it and when the vehicle's located, the clothes basket's still there and a brand new gas can with just a smidget of gas in the bottom of it."

Justice for Maleah Davis: Did mom lie about being in apartment with missing girl before she left for airport?
BBM
I know Tim Miller strongly suggested before that something may have been burned but this new statement of a smidget of gas at the bottom of the can all but confirms that gas WAS used at some point. I hope they find a pile of burned clothes/towels and not the other thing.

Another twist to the tale. I wouldn’t be surprised if he said he was getting gas for his Impala. *Eye Rolls*
