I have a question and an opinion:

1 Has there been any video/pictures showing his face when he leaves the apartment that might show if the injury was there prior to him leaving. The injury appears to be vertical which in my opinion would be difficult to achieve with a random knock him out attack. IMO

2 I find it difficult to believe that a toddler would stay by dad's side for that length of time, IMO. I don't know many that sit still and usually they are constantly on the move. IMO

Just some random thoughts.

I don’t think so. I think LE has limited what we can see to what they want us to see.

They are probably amping up the stress level of the people that now know what is on the video. Without stress, nobody will talk.

I honestly think that even my 10 year old would question that story. She could also come up with a better story than that, something almost believable. IMO of course.

A 2 year old, probably hungry by that time and in diapers and stays right next to dad, in broad daylight, on the side of a road, and no one calls authorities? I'd give a 2 year old maybe 10 seconds of being in one place in that scenario, anything else is asking too much or is a tall tale!

I'm still waiting for the bomb to drop. ( Who drove him to the hospital)

Finally it's out that BB was home with Maleah! That felt like forever I've been sitting on my hands and not blurt it out. I did my best at subtlety for a person who isn't very subtle. :D

A question I have is who else was in the apartment in the week that Maleah went missing? The security footage will hopefully provide answers to LE. And us eventually.

Yea, I hope NG’s claim of BB being home is more factual that her claim Lucas Hernandez died in the bathroom of his home.

I am so glad the whole BB was home when DV returned from dropping kids at daycare with Maleah in tow as he returned to the apartment is FINALLY covered in MSM.

We can now finally discuss this huge elephant

About 8:50 a.m. - Surveillance video from a neighbor shows Vence walking to his car alone. Does that not suggest that BB was home alone with Maleah?

Way more people been saying this than NG.....its been on social media for the past 4 or 5 days.

ITA! Especially after yesterday's mob scene at the courthouse with people screaming "murderer!" at BB you'd think her "spokesperson" would have clarified the time of her flight in order to take a little heat off of her.
.

But maybe the time of her flight does not take the heat off her, but instead points to the fact that she was home with Maleah, possibly alone when DV was out.

Am I missing something that would suggest otherwise?

My 16 m/o won’t even stay in the bed when he’s asleep, he will randomly wake up and try to escape in his half sleep state. The rest could be almost believable, but not that part. Not to anyone who’s ever been around a toddler.

Not sure if this one was posted. Sorry if it’s a dupe.

Maleah Davis case: What we know and what we don't know

Here are the questions we have been able to answer:
Q: If there were allegations of abuse, why was Maleah returned to her mother?
A: During recent court hearings, CPS documents reveal the goal was to reunite Maleah and her brother with their mother, Brittany Bowens. The documents state a doctor could not confirm whether or not the injuries were caused by abuse. The court ordered a "monitored return" of Maleah and her brother to Bowens in February 2019. Read more about Maleah's CPS history here.

Q: Who has custody of Maleah's brother?
A: At last check, one of the grandparents has custody of the child. Those documents have since been sealed.

Q: Stepfather vs ex-fiance?
A: Derion Vence is Bowen's ex-fiance, but KPRC2 continues to refer to Vence at Maleah's stepfather because law enforcement is referring to him with that title. Vence is charged in connection with the case.

Q: Why did Vence's bail drop from nearly $1M to $45K?
A: Texas law states a high bond amount like $1 million can only be used for limited cases like capital murder, according to KPRC2 legal analyst Brian Wice. Vence is charged with tampering with evidence, specifically a human corpse. That charge is a second-degree felony with a punishment of two to 20 years in prison. Read more about the legal ramifications of the case here.

Q: Does Vence have an attorney?
A: Yes, he hired an attorney.

Here are the questions that remain unanswered:
Q: When did Bowens leave and return to town?
A: Investigators have only said Bowens took a flight out of town on April 30. No time has been given. There are many questions into the time frame of her trip, but investigators have not revealed additional details. Here's a timeline we compiled of the case.

Q: Who dropped Vence off at the hospital?
A: Police have not said. They are searching for the person(s) who dropped him off in order to question them, but police have not said if they know who that person is. Here's more about the surveillance photos.

Q: Have investigators tracked the vehicle and Vence's cell phone?
A: Police took the vehicle. We can assume investigators will look into license plate readers in the area and cell phone records to determine Vence's movements. Warrant were more than likely filed, and if so, those would remain sealed during the investigation. Police have not revealed any further details. Read what police have said about the vehicle here.

My Speculation: MOO!

I think something happened that morning after DV came back home with Malaeh. (Probably an accident) BB & DV came up with a plan on how to handle the whole situation. The only reason it was reported was because BB2 did not like BB's story of already contacting the police (and not hearing from them since) and took her to the police station herself so she would know it was reported. BB then let DV know about this report so he could cover his own butt and that is where the 3 mexicans in a truck came from.

I currently think the LE is getting all his ducks in a row. We probably won't know all the evidence until this hits trial.

If you mean an "accident" from being beaten to death, I can go for that, maybe.

We know BB was home when DV took the kids to daycare, we know BB said they were fighting, we know DV had scrapes and days old cuts. Maybe they (or she) were fighting that morning. Maybe she is one of those types that gets violent, throwing/swinging things. Maybe that's why DV brought Maleah back home, for protection so to speak. Maybe he knew he was walking back into a to-be-continued fight. Less apt to get crazy in front of her, she could tell CPS. Maybe having her there made no difference and Maleah was seriously hurt in the fight where DV got all scratched/cut up. Big maybe fest, just throwing stuff at the wall here.

This way they can drag it out, similar to the news station that did with the interview with the lawyer and his wife in Kelsey Berreth's case.
And, we never did hear all of it!
In what time zone?

It was stated by Tim Miller, not Nancy. (If you're referring to the information about BB in the apt. for an hour and 1/2 before she left for the airport.) MOO

I don’t think bb was mother of the year. But I still don’t think she had anything to do with Maleah’s disappearance. I think if DV and BB had planned this they would have behaved differently when she returned from her trip.

I agree. Glad I’m not the only one.

A tow truck took away Derion Vence’s car today. It was parked at Maleah’s home and was vandalized after Maleah’s disappearance, according to Quanell X. #MaleahDavis

The problem with everything she says is that she said the opposite sometime in the past. The inconsistency points to lies.
Indeed.

DV may have already flipped on BB, which was why he was charged with "tampering with evidence". And LEO is collecting evidence before charging BB.

Once DV was shown that being held responsible for Maleah's disappearance, is a Capital Charge in Texas, he may be a few bricks short....but once that was explained, I bet he is talking.

If he was talking they would have found her.

My instinct is mother was complicit. Abandoned her baby to a violent, perverted abuser. Knew he was abusing her. Knew he had brought her home. Left as she was being "disciplined" or shortly after. Possibly left her dying.

At this point I don't think there's evidence she directly participated in the event that triggered Maleah's death. If there was, he would be talking. He surely knows she's throwing him under the bus.

And if he was talking, we would know where Maleah is.
