Per BB2, her return flight was delayed. I'd have to go back and listen but I think she said by about 2 hours? KHOU 11 News Houston @KHOU

They have to test the evidence. They're doing that and probably awaiting results. I may be in the minority but I think LE knows where he is. MOO

I have always thought they had 24/7 eyes on him.
Of course there was no reason for LE to say “yeah, we know where he’s at.” Moo

I hope he didn’t kill himself. This family needs answers. If someone is keeping him out of the public eye, they need to tell him to leave. It’s not considered harboring legally at this point, but in my mind that’s what it is because he needs to come forward now.

They have to sign an oath for it to be legally binding common law from what I’ve read. I’m not sure if they signed off or not. Some articles say her boyfriend and others say common law. I know nothing about common law marriage.
I don't think it's required, but it helps to prove a marriage exists for insurance reasons, legal issues, and court proceedings.
I'm not sure why they would need to prove it one way or another in this case.
Anyway she has basically stated that she broke off the engagement. So that, to me, indicates they did not consider themselves to have a common law marriage. Jmo

Oh I'm not saying she was actually feeling grief or disbelief. But I do think she was trying to express it.

Shall we say she emoted?

Idk I was looking up common law because somebody brought it up in this discussion. There’s a link and a screenshot. FAMILY CODE CHAPTER 2. THE MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP I guess the only reason it would be needed in this case would be for testimony. The spousal thing with testifying against one another.

The last we heard he was staying with his brother, according to BB. Linked earlier.

One week ago today, BB made an incomplete report about her missing family. After LE did not follow-up, BB2 was instrumental in completing the missing persons report.

A week later, BB is still evasive about her missing child.

Instead of working with LE, she's standing on point with a questionable spokesperson.

Again, it's more me, me, me, and nothing about the welfare of her daughter, or even an appeal for recovering her daughter.

MOO

Yes. It's very suspicious. And before anyone says we are misogynistically focusing on the woman, that was HER daughter. Not DV's.

She had a duty to protect her own child from a monster.

Thanks for clarifying. I can only read back so far before getting confused again. This case has a lot of twists and turns to it.

Maybe they are still not sure where he is. I'm expecting it soon, too, though.
I'm not sure what evidence they have. I don't know exactly what they would need to ensure a conviction.
But I bet they are working furiously right now. At least I hope so. Maleah and her family deserve justice, and soon. Imo

I think they want to find Maleah first. Or try.

Well, I'm sure LE has lost any hope of him willingly coming in for an interview after that display yesterday. I'm sure his ego is deeply wounded. He is probably shivering in fear from the humiliation and incriminating evidence that was publicly revealed. Imo

I think some things need to be not said publicly like that until he would be in custody, it can ruin everything. JMO

I hope they do! Is there any evidence or other situation you can think of that would be enough to arrest him, if they could find him?

Do we have a time line on mom's trip? Now that the video with the laundry basket is out, I am confused.

Mom left for MA when?
Mom returns from MA on May 3rd? Time of arrival?
Video with laundry and black bag May 3? Msm said May 3rd was the day before she went missing?

So what exactly happened here?
The laundry basket/black bag and 3 Hispanic men in a blue truck all occurred on May 3rd? Yet MSM is still saying May 5 as her missing date?

No one outside the family saw Maleah after daycare on April 26?

DV went to the Laundry at where? Why did he need to do laundry when BB was doing laundry at BB2 on Tuesday 4/30?

I am so confuzzzzzzed!

Possibly these incriminating messages she had may be enough to detain him at least. I want to say they have more than the public knows.

Common law husband? Have they cohabitated for at least seven years. Pretty sure that's how long a couple legally has to be together to be considered common law.
So if they are trying for spousal privilege not sure if that applies in this case.
MOO

That's a myth. It came from a California case called Marvin. The couple in that case were together for 7 years and while CA doesn't have common law marriage it does recognize what's called a Marvin contract which enables someone to sue for certain property or support rights if they lived in a marriage-like relationship that appeared to be a contract of sorts- you agree to support me and I will agree to take care of your household and needs, etc.

People now assume everywhere that if someone is together for 7 years it's a "common law marriage." But that length of time was simply incidental to that CA case.

Texas does have common law marriage. There's no length of time. Just that the couple told people they were married and lived together as a married couple.

That's the only reason I can come up with that no one is arrested yet. Maybe they are watching to see if someone goes back to a location. Can't do that if they are in jail.

She had a duty to protect her own child from a monster.
Instead, it appears she gave him Carte Blanche access to use & abuse MD, as he liked.
Her fake bling was more important. IMO the ring is fake.
