LE may very well be updating BB, imo. It appears to not be a whodunnit as much as a ‘where the heck is she’ situation. I think they point blank told BB MD is deceased & have filled her in hoping to extract any info they can from her that might help pinpoint where DV disposed of MD. There’s really no point in LE not being frank with her, imo. Plus LE not disputing Q’s comments Is telling, imo.

I always hate hearing information before LE confirms it. I’m not sure he should be telling so much.

If in fact she was dismembered the flap that they referred to would still have some type of serial number on it. To identify who received it.

True! Plus, dismembering a body isn't easy. Not to say one couldn't do it with the right tools, but, IMO, DV appears to be lazy.

I've got a horrible question that hopefully some of you with more forensic experience or knowledge will be able to answer.

All speculation: let's say it was Tuesday when DV killed Maleah. Maybe it was before BB left, maybe after. Either way, if she was dead in the apartment from Tuesday - Friday, would that apartment have been tolerable for 3 people (DV and both little boys) to stay in? Or would have it have become impossible to tolerate the smell at some point before Friday? What if DV kept the boys out of the bedroom with the door shut or something like that?

Wondering if this could gives us any insight into the timeline of whatever happened in the apartment during the week, mostly because I am horrified to think of Maleah suffering through so many days alone with him, and also horrified to think of what her brothers went through last week.

I wondered if CD noticed an odor about his son, like on his clothing or hair.
I don’t think CD went to the apartment door, personally.
Also, maybe the odor is what made DV vomit?!?
I doubt he was concerned about the comfort of the kids., his concern was creating an alibi. Moo

Good question. Many possibilities. Put her in the freezer. We don’t know if he took any other, ahem, laundry, out earlier in the week. Or just regular trash or gym bag. How well does that camera record at night? Is there another exit/window not in cameras sight line, especially bc it’s a ground floor apartment? I’d like to know how many suitcases BB left with vs how many she checked at the airport.

Maybe... I dunno, I'm hard pressed to accept that LE would share the forensics. Telling her they found evidence, yes, but the particulars? In theory anyway the case could get messed up if LE talks too much to family members about what evidence LE is holding, especially if they are also investigating BB. To be clear I'm not saying they are.

Surely LE knows Q and BB would run to the press to yak about what LE has and doesn't have. It makes no sense to me. I'd hate to see an appeal based on pre-trial leakage.

Oh, and to add: IMO a "community advocate" must earn the trust and respect of the community and having lawsuits pending for pretending to be a lawyer and not rendering promised services that were paid for and also seeing the very group he asserts that he's associated with release a formal statement disassociating from him isn't the way to earn trust and respect. Just sayin'.

S&BBM for focus

I feel so slow on the uptake today. I only just realized what that means and I read the court docs as soon as they hit the court site.

Maleah's 5 year old brother was at the apartment until Friday evening, just hours before DV allegedly left around 9 to go pick up BB at airport??? So where was this 5 year old brother all week? Is he seen on the video surveillance retrieved from neighbor's camera? Was he in the apartment as well as his half brother (the 1 or 2 year old of DV) during whatever happened to Maleah? I hope appropriately certified professionals have interviewed both of Maleah's brothers to gently find out what they may know.

The more we learn the more confused I get, this case has some twisty turns.
