Actually, I think DV will or has talked.
I expect him to blame BB for Maleah’s death & claim his participation to be only after the fact.
If MD had any visible signs of abuse, they both had to be concerned about her going to CD’s. I think possibly he brought M home from daycare to prevent discovery of recent abuse. Jmo

I missed all the lawyer stuff, so I know nothing. Is he actually paying for this one, is it an attorney willing to represent him for the publicity, or is it court appointed?

I'm still annoyed by this analyst saying criminal liability at this point is zero. Based on QX's presser, mom is arguably guilty of abuse and neglect.

And there CAN be criminal sanctions for abuse/neglect in TX.

I would think all they have to do is look at the flight manifest. LE probably knows exactly when the plane took off. Imo

I agree, MsBetsy. I have no doubt that LE has a copy of the flight manifest, in addition to the neighbor's surveillance camera footage that shows exactly when BB left the apartment to go to the airport - and I won't be at all surprised if it shows that BB was still at the apartment when DV brought Maleah back that morning (April 30) before BB left to catch her flight.

If so, I think that's one of the reasons why DV hasn't been charged with murder yet. Let us remember that he's 'only' been charged with "tampering with evidence, a human corpse."

It's obvious that LE believes that poor little Maleah is deceased. They're (LE) working on gathering evidence regarding who exactly caused her death and also who may have been present at the time. For those of us who have been following this case from day one and for those of us who have been reading everything here, there, and everywhere, I think we can all guess who LE is looking at.

IMO, this is the reason why QX has been front and center with BB lately: running interference for her and trying to throw as much shade at DV as possible - because (IMO) LE probably has evidence that places BB at the apartment when DV brought Maleah back that morning.

The neighbor's surveillance camera footage is going to play a strong role in the evidence when this case goes to trial.

I notice too that she talks about herself and her feelings but says little to nothing about her children. You know what I don’t understand, why didn’t she just let Maleah go? Why not let her live with nana or grandma, if dad wasn’t an option for whatever reason? She could have had her man and her daughter could have had a life.

That’s a $1 million question for all parents who abuse their kids or allow it.

One would think the proof is that Maleah went missing on DV's watch. And BB saying he was abusive in the past. That makes her responsible (D) failure to make a reasonable effort to prevent an action by another person that results in physical injury that results in substantial harm to the child

But there’s no proof other than her word and she didn’t take it to LE. They also said he hasn’t responded to her calls or texts in days on that nice little interview of her coming out with this interview.
