Oh thank god (we have enough bad attorneys in our profession), for some reason I thought he was one as well. Might’ve imagined that.

Used to be.....some kind of drama occurred.....no surprise with him huh?

But if they want to use Friend that drove BB to airport as a witness, defense lawyers will likely pick apart her SM comments in comparison to what she told police in order to attack her credibility.

Logically though, I’m hoping releasing all of this info doesn’t hurt a court case. Sometimes LE holds back information for strategic reasons.

You mean like what time BB's flight was and what time she left the apartment that morning?
Would LE be more likely to keep that from getting out if she had left long before 8:00 in the morning or if they knew she was definitely there?
Probably both, but it's driving me crazy that we can't verify whether or not she was still there.

I think they played a game with the helmet. She wore it at daycare or in front of people that could report them. Terrible to to say, but more likely true. Seen it way too many times. Much like the home visits and the house and kids are clean and full.

I noticed that too. I also felt that with her trailing behind like that, he definitely was not grooming her and, therefore, may not be sexually abusing her. Grooming can be a long process. On the other hand, he may have just had the alleged fight with BB and he was still ticked off at her.

I do wonder if LE approves of all he's saying to the press. I have to think not.

I can almost guarantee you, Mr. Q does not care what LE approves of. On the flip side of that, LE probably doesn’t approve of anything he does/says. My knowledge of Mr Q is very limited. I’d never heard of him until he spoke on behalf of BB. So, I had to research him, most of what I found in regards to advocacy, had to do with police violence against African Americans. My personal opinion on the matter doesn’t matter, but my impression is certainly doesn’t appear to be pro LE

It only takes a minute here or there to sexually abuse kids. Not full intercourse, but touching and such, and it leading to more.

It always makes me so sad to see toys and stuffed animals piled at vigils like this. I know these things are for living, so they have someplace and some way to express their shock and grief that something like this could happen to a little one in their own community, but it always makes me feel frustrated. That baby girl has no use for those now. Her life was not a stable good one from ALL accounts in her four short years. I am sure she would have loved all those plush pink toys. But that pile is so stinkin sad to me.

Yes, the doctors said she must wear it at virtually all times for a year given she is growing and it would ensure that her skull healed/developed properly.

Yes, when Maleah got out of ICU, doctors ordered that she wear a helmet for 12-24 months while she healed.

Doctors had to perform a “craniectomy to relieve pressure” and remove half of her skull, according to documents. When Maleah got out of ICU, doctors ordered that she wear a helmet for 12-24 months while she healed. Doctors said the injury and explanation did not add up and suspected abuse, according to court records. Why did missing 4-year-old Maleah Davis need brain surgery?

Still looking for the link where an LEO gives statements about the AA in the beginning of this past week about the extensive follow up care she needed and how her injury to her head had left her medically fragile and in need of monitoring and that helmet for months to come.

ETA one thing is telling tho, never, ever in any of the descriptions I have seen was she described in that amber alert as wearing it. She wasn't wearing it in the still from video. Was it found laying somewhere in teh apartment? I am betting yes. I am betting she didn't have that thing on much. JMO

Correct re attorney client privilege. Although, who knows if she knows that - he is currently being sued by two families for holding himself out as an attorney.
