Found Deceased TX - Maleah Davis, 4, Houston, 5 May 2019 #5 *STEPDAD ARRESTED*

Yes, it is uncommon - commonly funerals happen within a few days to a week after death. Even with embalming the body will start to decompose after that.

I'd still like to know the date of the actual funeral.

Funeral Home states the funeral was 4/27. Burial 5/1.

Pure speculation- I have a hard time believing the sexual abuse. I'm sure MD has been seen by numerous doctors due to her previous injury. Wouldn't they have noticed, especially at her age?? And with CPS involved- I'm thinking maybe DV and BB were fighting and she got caught in the middle. Pure speculation. MOO

No, I don’t think so. Sex abuse does not have to be intercourse.
IMO, BB/Q only mentioned this because she finally grasped MD is likely deceased & fears what an autopsy might reveal. I think she was tolerant of DV doing what he liked, as long as he stayed in the relationship. Moo
It is my opinion only MD was not killed because DV was distraught over BB breaking up with him. I’m not in
Houston, but there’s a lot of women just like her, available for the asking, everywhere I’ve been. I’m sure Houston is no dif’. She’s the one I think wanted a relationship. All moo

Well, one would hope so. But I believe even if he did confess to his lawyer his lawyer does not have to disclose that-(cannot)- because of atty/client privilege. However, I personally would not represent him and would step down from the case if he confessed to me that he did in fact murder and dispose of the little girl. I would never help a child killer get off the hook. MOO

Here’s the court video of DV's first appearance. The judge states why she set bail at $1M. So, what changed?
I also noticed DV states he plans to hire an attorney to represent him, but he wanted the court appointed attourney to represent him at that hearing.

The reasons she gave are not legal reasons to have high bail. Period. She has to go on what the charges are at the time. Not how loved the victim was or what she thinks eventual charges will be.

He died April 11.
Memorial on April 27.
Burial May 1.
This was confirmed with the funeral home.

BB flew out when he was dying.
Then flew out April 30 to attend the May 1 burial, then fly back May 3.

I could see that possibility, too- I can see many different situations as possible. It seems likely to me that she is involved in the cover-up, and at least possible that she is part of the death. I guess time will tell.

Plus, this joker wants us to believe these kidnappers and torturers said "*Maleah* looks very sweet"? If so, how would the abductor have gotten to Maleah's name? Is DV trying to say these guys seemed so cuddly and friendly, they asked and he answered politely with her name? Did the abductors call her "she" instead? Where are the shreds of realism in this, because "She looks sweet", sounds like something some slick Hollywood "gangsta" would be scripted as saying "menacingly". It's a little too... super convenient, IMO.

I believe mom had a custody hearing coming up regarding Maleah and the bio-father. Given Maleah was still under CPS supervision I hope mom and DV did not contrive to murder Maleah as part of one of those "if I cannot have her nobody will" scenarios. Mom's behavior is quite odd, hard to say what has been contrived regarding/between these two (DV and BB) and they may both be covering each others behinds....so much seems scripted and acted out. moo

I so hope for a confession too. Defense attorneys are there for their client and they will try to keep their defense image looking amazing as much as they can for future clients. Since this is national, idk how this attorney is going to handle things.

It may depend on the details of the death. It will be whatever benefits his client. If he is one hundred percent guilty by himself with no accomplice, might a lawyer suggest a plea, body for life without parole? I’m not a lawyer.

But if “he’s not going down for this” because he didn’t do it alone? Or because it was somehow an accident? Or.... ? I don’t know what advice she or he would give.

If he tells his atty he wants MD found, his atty can go to prosecutor & deal. Idk why his attorney would want to wait for charges that could be down the road. The sooner she’s found, the better chance of determining when & how she died. Moo
