Were there any witnesses who saw Maliyah playing outside by herself prior to her disappearance?

When was the last time anyone saw her at all - outside or otherwise! This has been pending too long; something is wrong.
I fear the little body was so decomped they won't be able to conclusively prove COD. Sure hope I'm wrong.

Advanced decomp surely would have assured a closed casket at the funeral. I know funeral experts can work wonders with trauma but I don't think they can hide the slippage and decomp of a body in the water for several days.
It doesn't sound like it. A lot of those apartments must overlook the playground. I doubt anyone else saw her that morning. That may explain why the people in the community were so angry when they saw the mom and boyfriend with Quanell X. He questions whether or not Maliyah was kidnapped at all. Is it a coincidence that she was reported missing the day after the father asked for a visit?
I haven't heard any reports about any strangers or suspicious people in the area, either. I'm sure LE has a pretty good idea who is responsible.

You would think this would be the case. However, not necessarily. I have learned about the miraculous things these morticians do by watching "Ask a mortician" on YT. She does a segment on this very question. Despite the topic of death and mortuary science, her videos are not only informative, but entertaining as odd as that sounds.

The stranger danger is possible but remote by circumstance. LE hasn't made public announcement of child abductor/murderer on the loose. The info we have from nearby store is that she wasn't present during night/early shopping trip...yet it was 7:00 am when LE called bio father in Dallas to ask if Maliyah was with him.
That's a really limited window of time. There are RSOs in complex but wouldn't they have chosen when parents were gone and it was dark? Speculation IMOO

What time was the shopping trip? Was it the night before Maliyah went missing? Were both the mother and the boyfriend seen at the store?
No one has specified time but it was "late late" according to Quanell X.
Mom and bf have said to him they were there , and Maliyah was left home and apparently they did not call about her being missing when they returned. Not said to be missing till she was on playground Sat morning and mother went to make breakfast indoors.

Ok, thanks. I knew that QX felt that something was not right or didn't add up but I must have missed that part. So it sounds like she may have actually been missing several hours earlier, unless the boyfriend's mother was home with her. It seems she calls herself the "adopted" grandmother but I'm not sure if that means the boyfriend legally adopted Maliyah or not. I wouldn't think so since they were only dating about four months.

Why did both of them have to go leaving Maliyah alone?
We don't know what they bought.
There was said to be no one home with Maliyah.
I don't know reason for leaving no one babysitting.
Sorry to not have answers but a lot isn't being discussed. (Not with the public at least!)

Thank you! So it sounds like QX first learned that they were at the store late at night from the neighbors, and then found out more after speaking to the mom and the boyfriend. It must have been early in the morning on the same day she was reported missing.
Then a neighbor comments further that they keep changing their story. I wonder if something happened to Maliyah when she was left home alone. The truth will come out eventually.
