*Pretrial Conference Hearing (@ 9:30am CT) - TX - Man rapes 12-year old cousin & murders her mother Janice C. James, 42 & grandmother Mary Jane Langdon, 66 in Houston on Nov 16, 2023 - *Tyler Chase Langdon (25/now 27) arrested (11/16/23) & charged (11/17/23) & arraigned (5/30/24) with capital murder (multi murder) & 2 counts of super aggravated sexual assault (child 6-14yrs) (1/11/24). Held without bond. Bond was denied (1/24/24). Bond reduced (3/22/24) to $1M & GPS monitoring if released. Harris County
Trial is set to begin on 11/6/25.

2/25/25 Update: Non-trial setting hearing was reset per defense request. Next non-trial setting hearing on 4/2/25 @ 9:30am.
4/2/25 Update: Reset by agreement of both parties. Next pretrial conference hearing on 7/23/25 @ 9:30am & trial is set to begin on 11/6/25 @ 9am.

So bond was denied in January 2024 and then reduced to 1M on 22 March 24. Why? Can this guy afford 1M dollar bond? Or, is this just a way for everyone involved to get a paycheck by staging frivolous court hearing all at the tax payers expense? It sometimes makes me ill thinking about how much tax dollars are spent on disgusting creatures like Tyler Chase Langdon and the vermin that feed off of his crimes.

I doubt trial is next as the pretrial hearing on 7/23/25 was "reset" - so will keep an eye out on this case for updated hearing dates.
