Disgusting. Now she is spending the inheritance (which by your accounts she did not deserve) to defend herself and her co-defendant: the primary murderer of an innocent young woman (per Beltran’s account).

just look at these mug shots and tell me you don’t believe Charles Beltran’s account. (is that the devil in the middle?).

i think he was living off these women and they thought this was some great polyamory

To Note
•Authorities filed one count each of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence against Lisa Jo Dykes and Nina Tamar Marano in connection with the death of Marisela Botello
•The women, along with Charles Anthony Beltran, also face one count each of capital murder.

•According to a new affidavit, Beltran told police he brought the 23-year-old woman home but fled after he woke up as one of the other women was attacking her with a knife.
•Beltran admitted meeting Botello in Deep Ellum and taking her to his home, where they had sex and fell asleep.
•Beltran told detectives he woke up and saw Dykes on top of Botello, holding a knife and making a stabbing motion with one hand while holding Botello’s neck with her other hand. He said he pushed Dykes, knocking her and Botello to the floor
•Marano then came into the room and shoved him out of the way, he said.
•Beltran said he left the room, got dressed and fled the home
•When he returned, the bedroom was “spotless” and the women told him everything had been taken care of
Two women overpowered him so he got dressed and left. Okay. Did he have another car? If not, whose car did he leave in?
so this was jealousy?
That was actually my first thought when we learned that his cohorts were using his last name as an alias. Jealous rage. MOO

Yeah, who knows if the true story will ever come out. This sounds like HIS story.....where he is practically a victim as well. I'm sure all 3 of them have their own story where they themselves are innocent.

Statistically, you would expect him to be the murderer. But who knows what all was going on between these three suspects. Seems like an unusual arrangement at the very least. Who knows? Maybe this account is generally accurate?

Oh my. I forgot about the mormom part. I don't want to offend anyone, but they are known for polygamy, right?

So he got caught cheating on his 2 "wives"(?), and one or both of them took it out on the innocent victim that probably had no idea about them? I guess some scenario like that is.....not implausible. I guess it's not uncommon for people to irrationally(imo) put more blame on the "other person" than on their cheating spouse. It's one thing if it's your best friend cheating with your husband. It's a totally different thing is it's a stranger that may, or may not, even know that he is married. As far as blaming the other person goes.....

Anyway, I say lock 'em all up, and throw away the key.

Oh, so he leaves his bedroom, gets dressed, and leaves the house. Where were his clothes? In the living room?

And then he decides to return to the house at some point? OK......

i hope she took her passport too.
Me too. Talk about a flight risk! All three of these defendants showed themselves to be serious flight risks!

Even if they took their passports they all seem to have no trouble coming up with new names and places to go.

My understanding is that most ankle monitor systems aren’t even really monitored as closely as we assume. I hope they are doing real time monitoring of Nina in this case.

no, polyamory. its an alternative lifestyle. a thrupple. a threesome. polygamy is in history in LDS but nowadays only fundies practice it.

Personally, I think he had something to do with the murder itself given his behavior and posts after the fact, waking up to your partner and friend (?) murdering someone next to you should tear you up and you run to the police, not come back and then act like a smug idiot. He was partying and making crap music like his song POI. Not buying it. I could definitely see LD having a heavy hand in the murder but he should not be cut any type of deal unless they find evidence like texts or something, in which case I don’t think he’d be charged with capital murder right now as well. Jmo though!

EXACTLY on Point!!! Call 911 at Least while “your Running”

My thoughts exactly!
If it happened as he stated, then why did he not go straight to the police after running out the door?

Are Nina and Charles related? I was just looking at their pictures side by side and they have very similar features (skin tone, eye shape, nose shape)... MOO because I don't recall it being known yet how they are all related. I do find it a little hard to believe CB and LD were in a relationship, I thought maybe mom or a stepmom? Again MOO.

WOW!
Charles Anthony Beltran, who faces a capital murder charge, reportedly told detectives he fled the scene after waking up as a woman attacked Botello with a knife.

According to the new affidavit, Beltran admitted meeting Botello in Deep Ellum and taking her to his home, where they had sex and fell asleep.

Beltran told detectives he woke up and saw Dykes on top of Botello, holding a knife and making a stabbing motion with one hand while holding Botello’s neck with her other hand. He said he pushed Dykes, knocking her and Botello to the floor, the affidavit says.

Marano then came into the room and shoved him out of the way, he said. Beltran said he left the room, got dressed and fled the home, according to the affidavit.

When he returned, the bedroom was “spotless” and the women told him everything had been taken care of, the affidavit says.

Police wrote that they think Marano and Dykes cleaned the crime scene and disposed of Botello’s body, leading to the additional charges.”
Interesting.

Hypothesizing- so if Charles was in a relationship with Dykes & Marano, and Marisela was killed out of jealousy. Why would dingleberry bring her to the house and have sex with her? That makes no sense? Why did he flea, because he feared for his own life? Why would they want to harm the object of their affection?

I'd like to hear Dykes & Marano's side.

If the story is true, why didn’t he try to stop the attack, check to see if he could help Marisela, render aid and call LE? His story is BS!

LDS Beliefs are to practice Law & Order! Polygamy was practiced mostly bc loss of “patriarchal” life was so persistent mid 1800’s(during the incipient stages of the religion)... polygamy was more of Family leadership & I surmise a side benefit being increased Intimacy; more than a flitting pastime...when the polygamy lifestyle comes under scrutiny(at some point) later 1800’s the act of polygamy being against the Law prevails! Yes, polygamy still does exist within a sector of the religion; but this sector is not following the “law of the land” & regulation LDS leadership would excommunicate these members. This polygamy practice was initiated as a way to maintain a head of household, so to speak. Modern day LDS does NOT approve of polyamorous relationships whatsoever & would be Prosecuted as such & considered illegal.
