Maybe you are typing inside the quote post. I have to wait for the reply message to load, then scroll down and put the cursor after where it says quote. I have to backspace and start over almost every single time
I think I understand, and that's what happened this last time.

Thanks!

The reply to Razz is missing the ] so that it posted like editing her post instead of a reply. But i have had some odd posts I was surprised by since the new format. Like if I begin a reply then change my mind altogether, I have not found a way to cancel it. But then my next reply is kind of odd and includes the first one.
Thanks! There are probably still bugs to work out.

I wonder if the Chambers’ put their out their garbage, near the mailbox.

But nobody drives a bulldover for miles. They load it on the back of a trailer and take it to the construction site.
That’s true. For some reason I was thinking more of a garbage truck. I just realized she was talking about a bulldozer. A garbage truck would go that slow and that length. His cell phone could’ve been tossed in.

Back on topic, I found it quite interesting that Mr. Klein, in his video interview, spoke of sitting down with one of MC and BC's sons ( JC1?). He said that this son is totally convinced that his dad died from suicide.

I could infer that BC has had a lot to do with influencing this son's opinion, but that would only be speculation. There's probably not much to be discussed re: this, but it's one of those things that pops into my head now and then.

No matter what, I hate to think of this family being divided, and hopefully they are not, even with some differing thoughts. I just can't imagine the pain.

I was surprised by the son holding onto the suicide theory as well. I understand some people want to close the book and move on as soon as possible. However most have the hardest time accepting suicide and will look endlessly for another possibility. It would be different if there was no possibility of further investigation to uncover the truth. But perhaps what he tells Mr Klein and what he believes are 2 different things.

I wonder if other family members feel the same but won’t say it out loud because they don’t want to feel like they’re giving up.

RBBM for focus.

Or what he knows, IMO.

I do think this happens, but I don’t believe that is the case here, IMO.

The family and friends who have spoken seem well assured that he would not have committed suicide.
As for the son, I have to say one glaring reason someone may readily accept the explanation of suicide would be to protect another. Perhaps he felt there is nothing to gain by encouraging the investigation into his mother's involvement in that punishing her will not bring his dad back and worsen their family structure. It's funny though because I believe he was the one who said his dad was making plans to come to his kid's soccer game the next day in saying that it does not fit with suicide. Right?

My guess is that JC1 was and is extremely close to both parents, and it's easier for him to accept his father committed suicide than that he was murdered and his mother may have played a part in it. I think he'd rather avoid that possibility and stay in denial. JMO

This is what I’m thinking.

I'm still interested in knowing which son accompanied BC to the atty's office.
If I believed my mother had anything to do with my father's death, I would make sure she was held accountable. I can't help but think both boys would agree.

It must have been the older son. She had a PO on the younger.

I do believe our VI said way back when that it was the older son who went to the attorney with her. I can't remember if BC had gotten the P.O. by that time or if it was after?

One other thought I've had lately concerns BC's boyfriend who Klein investigators caught lying about having no contact with BC in a year's time, when indeed he and BC had been exchanging phone calls the very day of MC's disappearance. That was, and is, very troubling and surely looks bad for both of them, though we haven't a clue as to what BC did tell HCSO investigators. Here's my thought:

Do you believe that particular BF's whereabouts during the relevant timeline were absolutely verified by HCSO ( or perhaps the P.I.) and that angle of possible criminal action/involvement has seemingly gone nowhere?

I personally don’t think HCSO has checked into anything on the boyfriend. They aren’t calling it a criminal case and never have. I do think Klein has partially checked into the boyfriend and caught him in lies. He said so in the video. He seems to think the boyfriend knows something, and now he isn’t cooperating with Klein. I’m curious as to which boyfriend this is.

The only thing we know HCSO or SM asked BC about was MC’s mental state, which was who knows how long after SM initially said MC had no known medical issues to indicate his disappearance was voluntary. On the surface it seems they took BC’s word for everything. Maybe turning over her phone records satisfied them of her innocence.

I thought it was before the p.o. And I don't recall our VI saying it was JC1.

I think it was before the PO as well, but I do recall the VI saying it was JC1. It's somewhere back in the thread. If I can find it later I'll add the link.
