So they were right first time - no shirt. Also has he got some kind of leg restraints on or is he walking with a really bad limp?
I was wondering about that, too.

(Ew, just seeing this, sorry for repost:

Killeen: Gym empowers women

“For nearly two years now, Cedric Marks has been showing women techniques to stay safe.

"This is more about prevention than just self-defense moves you might have seen on youtube," said Marks.

Once a month, Marks teaches women of all ages simple moves that empower them like the choke escape.

The women first watch Marks and then work with each other practicing.”

This is a LIVE news conference with authorities in Montgomery County, Texas. Escaped inmate Cedric Marks, who ran from a prison transport van eariler today, has been CAPTURED. (Source: KRIV)

Sounds like he was hiding in a 50 gal trash can most of the time. Someone must have seen him and called police. Scary! Glad for those people living around there that he was found.

Hiding in a trash can...what an appropriate place for him.

Now I'd like to hear more about those pending murder charges.

At the press conference they only said there were two. Not sure where the third is coming from or if that was something that was a product of the telephone game. MOO

As well as how he managed to escape.
Yes, that too. I imagine it would have been cheaper in the end to have sent someone to pick him up instead of using a private service. Look at the manpower used to catch him today.

What is this on his right foot?

Conroe Police Department, Texas

At 7:20 this morning CPD received a call of an escaped prisoner in the 800 block of N. Loop 336. Texas Prisoner Transport Services was transporting a group of prisoners from various locations across the country. There were two guards and 10 prisoners aboard the van when they stopped at McDonald's for food. Cedric Joseph Marks was able to escape the van and fled south of the location. A perimeter was set up and a search conducted utilizing K9 officers and law enforcement from multiple agencies. After an extensive K9 search and new video surveillance emerged, law enforcement regrouped and began a grid search from the original location. The suspect was located in the 1000 blk of Windswept hiding in a trash can. The suspect surrendered without incident, is in custody and is being interviewed.
At this time the circumstances surrounding Marks escape are still under investigation. Once the investigation is complete the finding will be presented to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
CPD would like to thank the many LE agencies who assisted in this investigation:

Just caught up on this thread. I'm so happy to read that this dangerous criminal has been captured again. At least now they have more charges to add. Hopefully this escape means he won't be allowed any bond.

So do we think CM is possibly a serial killer? Has anyone made a map yet for all the locations he is associated with? Did he travel the country to teach MMA/self defense classes? (Sorry if a dumb question, I have not researched him too deeply, just read the thread to get caught up).
