I hope so as well! That, sadly, he can not change. Currently, of importance is CS’s stand during the trial. MOO - CS views the situation from the standpoint of “Someone's grieving but that's not relevant” (words that he said to Claire Carter). Indeed, he has many things to grieve for. But if CS can look at the story from a different angle, not counting own losses, but realizing what MW has lost, he can pull through this process, and decently. (We read that CS was in therapy. It is an immense tool, and hopefully, can help CS gain certain fairness. JMO. Keeping fingers crossed for the fair outcome of the trial).
Perhaps they were about to interrogate her about the Botox warrant and IIRC, the knock on the door was to advise the detective that KA's warrant was deficient. In that case, she was no longer under a custodial interrogation setting (and was properly informed of that and advised she could leave at any time) and Miranda warnings were no longer required. Hopefully when the State responds to KA's motions they will include the entire interrogation video and a full transcript. If there was no need to Mirandize, then I wonder why the LE who was interrogating KA started to Mirandize her before the knock on the door and she was interrupted. The transcript of the recording sure sounds confusing, especially to the defendant who was asking if she needed an attorney, several times.
Yes, but KA was being charged with a crime at the time (the botox crime), not CS. Why should a private citizen's discussion with his attorney be broadcast?I'm sure it will be played at the trial, so I don't think it is information that is privileged in any way. The prosecution is obligated to share its discovery with the defense during the entire process, and definitely well before the trial.
In terms of sharing the information, the prosecution shared information and quotes from the interview with CS long before KA was ever arrested, so it is not surprising that the defense is doing the same thing.
But there actually was an error. They weren't lying.I wondered if the arrest on the incorrect warrant is a ruse they use?
Seems that they were making public a transcript of the recording made by LE of the interview with both CS and KA, and that these transcripts/recordings will be used at trial, with various excerpts used by one side or the other (defense or prosecution). If it is the norm for the transcripts/recordings to be redacted while LE is out of the room and an attorney is speaking with his or her client, then, I agree, it should have been done here. But don't know if this is customary or not, especially since the attorney in the interrogation room knew that they were being recorded. So not sure if this is privileged conversation or not.Yes, but KA was being charged with a crime at the time (the botox crime), not CS. They did use the botox warrant as a ruse to get KA into the station for questioning.I wondered if the arrest on the incorrect warrant is a ruse they use?
That’s not my take on it. The information provided on the actual signed warrant is accurate and valid; an incorrect birthday was entered when the warrant information was loaded into the system. As I understand it, LE mistakenly believed the Botox warrant was invalid or for another KA because the information in their computer system didn’t match the information listed on her driver’s license and/or passport. When the detective noticed the discrepancy, they told KA that she was free to leave. IN REALITY, the signed physical warrant actually DID have the correct information and was, in fact, a valid warrant. They did use the botox warrant as a ruse to get KA into the station for questioning.
I am not against CS or trying to make him guilty, however.....denial is a very LARGE coping mechanism. He just may be in denial of KA's real personality. Probably is dealing with much guilt.

True. But then CS himself, the person that KA trusted to be faithful to her, was the one who set things in motion, which has left KA's life in shards.I don’t view him as guilty, merely ignorant of the situation. Denial, of course. Also, hard to acknowledge that the person you trusted left your own life in shards.
IMO the one and only victim is Moriah. Not CS. Not KA. Someone murdered her in cold blood for no justifiable reason.I don’t view him as guilty, merely ignorant of the situation. Denial, of course. Also, hard to acknowledge that the person you trusted left your own life in shards. TBH, the interview left some aftertaste of utilitarianism. “Shining” examples of “compassion and thoughtfulness” that CS provides include KA attriting bureaucracy on the phone to help his mom get $20 K in unemployment benefits, and “this company we own poised to just be like a beautiful”. About murder, CS says, “not only are you ending somebody's life and destroying their entire family network …but you are destroying your own life, you're destroying my career, my life.”
In hindsight, this is exactly what KA did, and maybe CS has poor perception of “the fury like a woman scorned”. Indeed, not only did KA kill MW, she spectacularly destroyed CS's life, and that specific part he valued, the support of the community. (And on a side note, it would seem that KA might have made own sister's life quite difficult).
Was he the only one that dated other people during their on and off relationship or did KA also date other people?True. But then CS himself, the person that KA trusted to be faithful to her, was the one who set things in motion, which has left KA's life in shards.
CS did not set things in motion to murder. He has not committed a crime. He is not responsible for KA’s behavior. She is the one who put her life in shards. She chose to sacrifice it on the altar of envy. She chose to kill.True. But then CS himself, the person that KA trusted to be faithful to her, was the one who set things in motion, which has left KA's life in shards.

Thank you. I thought I read something like that weeks ago but wasn't sure.According to CS, she was dating men she met online during that period.
In addition, he claimed that while he was dating Wilson, Armstrong was enjoying herself dating men on Bumble — even though they continued to co-habitate.
