Sorry for so many posts in a row, but does anyone else think she got an upper eye lift as well? Her eyelids look different, and her eyes appear more open.
She may have, yes.

Remember as soon as I saw that KA would have a GPS monitor and be allowed out from 8AM to 8PM I recalled cases of suspects posting bond and disabling the GPS? Here’s another I never even heard of ^^

If you follow that thread, you will see the former relative of one of the criminals (Nina). That person warned that Nina would find the money for the bail and said very interesting things about her personality. It all came true.

Prior history is very predictive.

In this case, given KA used a weapon to murder MW, seems she would have either needed another felony conviction on her record, was on bail for a felony, or on felony probation when she killed MW, to be denied bond.

If prior cases exist where examples cited by OP were denied bond, it would likely be because the Texas Constitution made it happen. At this time, I'm not aware of the date the following 4 exemptions were actually adopted.

The Texas Constitution (Section 11a) sets out the following four exceptions where a murderer shall NOT be bondable:
  1. If a defendant is charged with a felony and has been convicted of two prior felonies at two different times
  2. If a defendant has been charged with a felony while on bail for a felony for which he has been indicted
  3. If a defendant has been charged of committing a felony with a deadly weapon AND has been convicted of a prior felony; or
  4. If a defendant has been accused of murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated robbery, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, or indecency with a child while on felony probation.
If any of these four circumstances apply, the State has seven days to ask the judge for a hearing to hold the defendant without bond.

If, at the hearing, the judge finds that one of these four circumstances applies and (for circumstances 1 and 3 only) if evidence is also presented substantially showing the defendant’s guilt, the judge can order the defendant held without bond for sixty days.

But after sixty days, the no bond order is set aside and the judge must set a bond.

But what if the defendant also committed a federal crime? She was considered “armed and dangerous” and was an international fugitive.

Yes! Eyelids are red and swollen. Although, could be from all the crying after she was caught and knew her life was truly over.

As much as I enjoy traveling and vacations, I always love to get back home. Judging from the new pic, apparently, not everyone does.

She’s looking rather good here, IMO, and all things considered….

She is STILL not facing the camera completely head on. What on earth is going on? This isn't meant to be a glamor shot to make yourself look thinner. Here are some shots I've collected (there are 3 of her sister in this compilation). At first I thought her left eye seems much higher than her right, but in previous shots I think it may have been that way as well.
EDITED: Uploaded wrong photo collage.

Maybe her next step was an ear lobe reduction surgery. One thing I've learned in my genealogy research is that while our faces do change over the years - we get heavier, thinner, and they just do morph a bit, the ears in general don't change as far as overall silhouette, whether they stick out more than others, the ridges the cartilage creates, and the lobes - whether they're very attached to the jaw with very little lobe, or whether you have a large, hanging lobe..... Just sayin'.

To me, in this pic, she basically just looks bored, and looks resigned to the fact that she no longer has control of her life. I don't get the sense, from her pic, however, that she feels like it is her fault that she doesn't. I do not see any remorse. JMO

BBM...Maybe that surfboard accident that we have all been thinking was plastic surgery, was so serious that the surfboard smacked her in the face hard enough to give her a crick in the neck that won't allow her to face straight ahead. Yeah, that's it! JMO

This is exactly what I’ve been thinking!

KA’s attorneys are not playing around. They have already requested discovery from the State.

Holy moly! She looks different in every single photo except her jail photos, many of her online photos are years old & I think she surely uses filters and digitally alters to beautify & that's why every photo looks different. Her DL is accurate even though heavily made up it's accurate non filtered photo. She looks older than 35 in her latest jail mug.

Agree! Like I said in a previous post - I looked way worse after the stress of taking a college calculus exam! She looks sad and defeated, but not exactly a mess.

I know, right? She is a facial chameleon. Obviously the 2 on the bottom left are from high school per Fox News, so a good 16+ years old and we all had fuller faces then, but her pensive pics in the top row look SO wildly different to me. Not so much on the basis of each feature, but just an overall "look and feel." When she isn't smiling she looks so different from when her face is lit up. Why, Kaitlin, why? You were a gorgeous smart woman, and now for what?

That could be, but if she wanted to look like that "other" passport photo, that other person has deepset "beady" eyes. And I don't mean that to sound disrepectful. Kaitlin's eyes are large and wideset and the other passport photo she may have been trying to emulate shows a person with heavy upper eyelids... so that is strange she'd have done that.

I cannot believe how her appearance has changed, she really was trying to look like her sister. How very strange.
