Thanks, I agree, it's a bit farfetched. APD seems to hold some details close to the belt for a while though, and whatever doorbell/smartlock situation we see in the picture is our only witness! Hope that thing has eyes.
From the AA:

Detective Rolando Ramirez #4140 observed a surveillance camera mounted on the exterior of a residence
near the crime scene. This residence is directly north of Cash's residence and the camera faces a driveway
next to Cash's residence.
Detective Ramirez spoke with the homeowners and they allowed him to review
the surveillance video. In the video, Detective Ramirez observed a dark colored SUV drive past the
residence with the surveillance cameras at 8:37 PM, one minute afier Wilson entered Cash's residence
according to the locking mechanism

And some eyes and ears:

0n May 15, 2022 Detective Spitler was canvassing the neighborhood where the murder occurred in an
attempt to locate video surveillance. While searching, Detective Spitler was approached by David Harris.
Harris is the property owner where Cash resides and rents the apartment above his detached garage to
Cash. Harris advised on May ll, 2022, between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM, he walked into his garage and
partially raised his garage door. Harris advised after doing so, he heard what he described as someone
running down the stairs that lead to Cash's front door. Harris advised he believed he observed a bicycle
travel southbound through the alleyway from Cash's apartment.

KA killed a young woman, escaped to the tropical paradise, to enjoy yoga and a company of nice men. Who cares how serious the "date" was? KA was enjoying her life! While Mo...
I agree @Charlot123.

We know that when KA was picked up by CR police, she was discussing how to economize and survive by spending less so if she could pick up some meals at the expense of nice, generous men, she was there!

I understand that certain generations might refer to KA as simply hanging out or socializing with Akerson but at age 34, if KA and Akerson set apart time to do something together, and exchange texts, who are we to challenge that they went on four or five dates together. JMO

I am guessing that people that live or hangout in places like that learn to just not ask too many questions about other people.
Or, as the owner of Kooks Smokehouse & Bar, in Sana Teresa stated: “If you met her in New York, you would think she was odd. But down here, she’s like anyone else,”

BBM - Being all alone in a romantic hotspot gets lonely. He dodged a bullet (so to speak).

Kaitlin may have been looking for a new opportunity.. and $$$ just in case she had to keep jumping around to different cities. More criminal activity on her part would have been no biggie after she just murdered someone. I wonder what her long term plans were. I dont think yoga would have been enough to satisfy her narcissistic nature. I think that if she hadn’t been caught she would have tried to broaden her horizons and get involved with some other ventures.

This is a sort of photo essay of Santa Teresa. Includes a picture of a man there who says he went on several dates with KA while she was there.

Great find!
This jumped out at me from the article. I used to want to visit CR. Now I’m not so sure, if a meditating fugitive murderer fits in so well with everyone else.

Greg Haber, owner of Kooks Smokehouse & Bar, in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, talks with customers on Saturday July 9, 2022. Fugitive Kaitlin Armstrong frequented his establishment. “If you met her in New York, you would think she was odd. But down here, she’s like anyone else,” said Haber.

I think Mo’s friend Is grieving terribly and it’s quite possible suffering some PTSD. I know I would if I found my friend gunned down and laying in a puddle of blood and I couldn’t save her. I don’t think she’s giving interviews.

I’m just trying to wrap my head around how KA would know that MO’s friend would be away long enough that she could commit the murder. Have these details come out already? Sorry if I missed something.

It's possible that KA and this guy had dinner together a few times and he is calling that a "date."
Or they skipped the dinner, and called whatever they did - a date.

Recalling one article where KA only went out at night and wasn’t often seen during the day - I have considered KA may have been earning money in various ways while in CR.

There have been different theories mentioned here about how KA might have been tracking CS and MW the night of the murder. I wonder if CS shut his phone off completely or put it in airplane mode while he was with MW so that KA wouldn't be able to track him while he was out? (Which may have later come out as 'Hey, my phone died...'....)

MOO.

I don't think she drove past them as she got to Maple Ave about 10 minutes before they did. It's possible that she was at the pool and burger place earlier but I suspect that she would have been captured by the same cameras CS's bike was captured on and that info would have been in the arrest warrant affidavit. The affidavit states:

8:16 PM Strickland and Wilson leave the parking lot of Pool Burger on Strickland's motorcycle
8:26 PM Armstrong's vehicle drives northbound on Maple Ave and then westbound on East 18th St
8:35 PM Strickland drives northbound through the alleyway, north of East 18th St, on his motorcycle

My guess would be that she was tracking them remotely... done simply if she knew CS's log in for Find My Mobile/iPhone (do we know what kind of phones they had?). AirTags have also been mentioned by others on the thread before, though I'm not sure where she'd hide one on his motorcycle that he wouldn't discover.

Regardless, IMO, she had a plan in mind for at least hours if not longer. I'd like to know when CS set up the pool date with Mo and was it done over text or a call.
Really seems very pre-planned. I’d like to know if KA normally drove around with a gun in her car. She may have, as I believe it’s completely legal. But if she did not usually do so, and chose that day to take it with her, then she was already planning to use it. Of course, if her defense argues it was not premeditated, there’s not really a way to prove she didn’t usually carry it. She will say she normally did.

Gosh, that's a really good point. I had no idea TX does not require anyone to be licensed to conceal carry. Point 1 in her favor I guess, as a defense tactic. UGH. BUT, could Colin still be in some lukewarm or hot water for buying a gun for someone who legally should not have owned one given her warrant for the Botox thingie? He could of course claim he wasn't aware of that, not that would absolve him but might reduce his liability a bit?

You may find this eye-opening. I know I did...

Being a state that allows open carry and constitutional carry without a license makes Texas one of the most gun-friendly states in America. As for whether or not you can have an unregistered gun in Texas, no statutes are currently on the books that prohibit or require firearms in the Lone Star State to be registered.

Thanks! Believe it or not, I did know that, but only because of these cases. I had looked up whether she should have registered it (after being "gifted it," which is legal) and was shocked to learn you can own guns there and never have to register any.
