I’m just trying to wrap my head around how KA would know that MO’s friend would be away long enough that she could commit the murder. Have these details come out already? Sorry if I missed something.

No details so far. I honestly think she had been stalking and watching all day and saw the opportunity when Mo was alone after CS dropped her off.

There have been different theories mentioned here about how KA might have been tracking CS and MW the night of the murder. I wonder if CS shut his phone off completely or put it in airplane mode while he was with MW so that KA wouldn't be able to track him while he was out? (Which may have later come out as 'Hey, my phone died...'....)

About the gun…

One of my best friends moved to Texas when she got married years ago. She calls me one day to tell me she’s at a gun range and she bought a gun to keep in her purse. I was floored because this girl was scared of guns and it was VERY UNLIKE her to purchase one. She said if she didn’t have one, she would be “the only person in Texas without one.”

So, in the purchasing aspect of the guns, could be something like that initially. IMO

Today, I know two things: the female cyclist community is a tight group, and all the players, in this case, are of a generation that does not value their privacy.

We know from the AA that the victim's host collected MW from the airport on Tuesday, 5/10, and was at a nearby residence when MW texted her on Wednesday that she planned to go swimming with CS.

We also know that on Wednesday, the host left earlier than MW (5:30 PM) to go out to dinner with friends, and returned home later than MW (near 10 PM).

From only the AA facts above, I think it is safe to speculate the host was not a homebody that stayed in on weekdays for laundry and to cook Weds night dinner at home.

Although CS told detectives that KA had never been to the host's residence and did not know where MW was staying, given the history here, I'd say CS is VERY naive (or a very dim bulb).

I don't have any doubt that KA already knew ample about the host when she walked into her residence, shot MW dead, walked out with her MW's bike, tossed it, and made her exit to the place she called home with CS. MOO

It makes you wonder why she connected with him, or anyone else, at all, if she was still being wary and trying to be out of the public eye as much as possible other than trying to find employment, that is. She didn't "need" to hook up with a guy. Or did she? Was she trying to find a partner, so if people finally were searching for her, she'd look like part of a couple and be overlooked? Maybe she was testing the waters?

Gosh, that's a really good point. I had no idea TX does not require anyone to be licensed to conceal carry. Point 1 in her favor I guess, as a defense tactic. UGH. BUT, could Colin still be in some lukewarm or hot water for buying a gun for someone who legally should not have owned one given her warrant for the Botox thingie? He could of course claim he wasn't aware of that, not that would absolve him but might reduce his liability a bit?

Thank you for that info! If she was casing the home I wonder if she used other vehicles as well. If I see an unfamiliar vehicle circling my neighborhood it gets my attention. Maybe not everyone is as observant though.

Ive thought about that as well. Knowing what we know about Kaitlin so far, yeah I think there could have been more victims.

Do you folks think they have video of Kaitlin (or accomplices if there are any) getting out of the car right before Mo’s murder? Would they have released that info already since we know they have Kaitlin’s car on video, or are those details they are holding back for now?
